China Airlines Launches Chiikawa Dessert Line in Partnership with WooTEA

WooTEA and the Japanese brand Chiikawa (ちいかわ) have developed an exclusive line of co-branded in-flight desserts, beverages and ice creams that will be available on all China Airlines routes and cabin classes departing from Taipei(Taoyuan) / Taipei(Songshan) / Kaohsiung.
A novel tasting experience with Japanese-style desserts
The bashful Chiikawa, the cheerful Hachiware (ハチワレ), and the bouncy Usagi (うさぎ) will now appear on the packaging of China Airlines in-flight desserts. Economy Class travelers to Japan will be treated to Japanese-style Matcha Dacquoise. On long-haul routes, Premium Economy Class will be served Sablés Breton de Fleur de sel while Economy Class will enjoy Dorayaki Matcha. For flights departing from Songshan and Kaohsiung, Economy Class travelers will have the chance to enjoy Sablés Maple Syrup as they fly through the sky.
Tea-based beverages and desserts were created by WooTEA specifically for China Airlines travelers. The Ruby Red Tea-Flavored Rice Snack with its rich tea fragrance and the Passion Fruit Green Tea Jelly Ice Cream with its refreshing sweet and sour flavors will be served in Economy Class on different regional routes. The Passion Fruit Black Tea Sparkling, a slightly sweet and refreshing drink in magical shades of orange, will be served on all routes and cabin classes. On short-haul routes to Okinawa, Hong Kong, Busan, Kumamoto, and Fukuoka, travelers in Economy Class will enjoy co-branded desserts butane the Peach Iced Tea will come in a tetra pak. A second wave of new products will be introduced in 2025 including the Snowflake Toffee, Winter Melon Lemonade, and a secret dessert.
