  • Notice for London’s Heathrow Airport 2025년 03월 21일

    Due to Heathrow Airport has announced that there’s a fire at an electrical substation supplying the airport.

    China Airlines would like to remind those passengers to/from London on 21MAR/CI081 should be advised to check the latest flight status before going to the airport. 

    Please check the flight status via our website, download the China Airlines App, or register for SMS notification to receive the lastest updates.

  • Handling guideline for CI61/CI62 flight cancellation caused by German Trade Union Verdi Strike 2025년 03월 08일
     
    ApplicationCI/AE Flight cancellation
    EligibilityPassengers holding CI/AE valid tickets (Change regulations are applicable to Dynasty Flyer Program Award Ticket).
    Changea. Within ticket validity, the fare/tax/booking service charge differences and reissue charge, including reissue service charge, shall be waived once provided that booking class/Carrier/Routing (City) remains unchanged. Flights operated by CI/AE shall not be rebooked to codeshare flights or other airlines flights. Ticket issued on CI website please contact the branch office or Call Center to change the booking.
    b. Within ticket validity, if the above item is not applicable, the difference of fare/tax caused by the change of the booking class/itinerary should be paid by the passenger. The booking service charge difference and reissue charge, including the reissue service charge, shall be waived once. 
    Refunda. For totally unused tickets: Full refund can be performed without imposing any refund charge/penalty.
    b. For partially used tickets: Refund charge can be waived.
    c. Chargeable seats and Prepaid excess baggage can be fully refunded.
    d. Original tickets issued via the CI website, call centers, and the branch offices can apply for a refund via CI Website.
    Group / Discount TicketsDiscount tickets do not apply to the principles above. For group tickets, please contact your travel agency.

  • Handling guideline for cancellation or schedule change over 3 hours of CI/AE operated flights to/from Brisbane affected by Tropical Cyclone Alfred 2025년 03월 04일
     
    ApplicationCI/AE Flight cancellation, delay or advance over 3 hours
    EligibilityPassengers holding CI/AE valid tickets issued on/before 04MAR25 with confirmed bookings on affected flights, must submit applications on/before 05JUN25 (Change regulations are applicable to Dynasty Flyer Program Award Ticket).
    Changea. Within ticket validity, the fare/tax/booking service charge differences and reissue charge, including reissue service charge, shall be waived once provided that booking class/Carrier/Routing (Airport) remains unchanged and the new flight date is within 14 days prior to/after the affected flight. Flights operated by CI/AE shall not be rebooked to codeshare flights or other airlines flights. Ticket issued on CI website please contact the branch office or Call Center to change the booking.
    b. Within ticket validity, if the above item is not applicable, the difference of fare/tax caused by the change of the booking class/itinerary should be paid by the passenger. The booking service charge difference and reissue charge, including the reissue service charge, shall be waived once.

     2025년 3월 1일부(발권일 기준) 대권거리 기준으로 적용되는 중화항공의 한국출발 국제선 유류할증료(Fuel Surcharge)를 아래와 같이 안내드립니다.

  • 인천 공항 내 보조 배터리를 휴대하는 승객에 대한 신규 규정 2025년 02월 27일
    2025년 3월 1일부터 인천 공항에서 출발하는 승객은 다음과 같은 보조 배터리 휴대 규정을 준수해야 합니다.
    보조 배터리의 포트를 절연 테이프 또는 보호 커버로 덮거나, 보조 배터리를 투명한 지퍼 백 또는 보호 파우치에 넣어 직접 휴대 또는 앞 좌석 주머니에 넣어 두어야 합니다.
    　
    　
  • 재발행 수수료 조정 2025년 02월 27일
    1. 여행사에서 발권한 항공권을 소지한 상태에서 일정을 변경하려는 경우에는 발권 여행사에 문의하여 재발권받으시기 바랍니다.
    2. 2025년 3월 3일과 그 이후 재발권 날짜부터 적용되며, 여행사에서 발권한 항공권에 대해 발권 카운터, 고객 서비스 센터 또는 공항에서 재발권을 원하는 경우, 기존 항공권 변경 수수료 및 운임/세금 차액 외에 추가 재발행 수수료가 항공권당 TWD 3000 또는 미화 100달러 상당의 금액으로 부과됩니다. (요금은 할인 및 환불이 불가합니다.)
    3. 해당 수수료가 부과되지 않도록 출발 전에 항공권이 확정된 예약과 일치하는지 확인하고 예약 확인 없이 공항 카운터로 이동하지 마시기를 당부드립니다.
  • 2025년 3월 1일부터 비행 중 보조 배터리 및 예비 리튬 배터리를 사용하거나 충전하는 것이 금지됩니다. 2025년 02월 26일
    기내 안전을 위해 보조 배터리와 예비용 리튬 배터리를 위탁 수하물에 넣어서는 안 되며, 대신 적절히 포장하여 휴대 수하물에 보관해야 합니다. 비행 중에는 절대로 보조 배터리 및 예비용 리튬 배터리를 사용하거나 충전하면 안 됩니다. 또한, 보조 배터리를 상단 선반에 두지 않는 것이 좋습니다.
    　
    　
  • 비동반 미성년자 대상 요금 규정 조정 2025년 02월 26일
    당사(CI/AE)는 항공권 발행일자 기준 2025년 3월 5일부터 국제선을 이용하는 비동반 미성년자의 운임 규정을 다음과 같이 조정합니다.
    1. 적용 요금: 비동반 미성년자는 아동 운임 항공권을 발행할 수 있습니다(RBD L 제외). 다른 객실 내 성인을 동반하는 미성년자에도 동일한 규칙이 적용되며, 예약 확정(RBD-I/P) 및 어워드 항공권(RBD-O/Z/X)을 통한 마일리지 업그레이드가 적용됩니다.
    2. 비동반 미성년자 서비스 요금: 아동 운임 항공권 구매와 더불어, 항공편 출발 최소 72시간 전까지(공휴일 제외) 당사에 문의하여 해당 노선과 객실에 따른 비동반 미성년자 서비스 요금 신청 및 결제를 진행해 주시기 바랍니다.

    3. 승객의 일정에 타이베이에서의 환승이 포함된 경우, 비동반 미성년자 서비스 요금은 1회만 부과됩니다. 그러나 타이베이를 경유하는 경우, 각 구간에 대해 서비스 요금이 별도로 부과됩니다.
    4. 마일리지 업그레이드 승객은 실제 객실에 따라 비동반 미성년자 서비스 요금을 지불해야 합니다.
    5. 항공편 출발 전에 비동반 미성년자 서비스가 취소되는 경우 서비스 요금이 전액 환불됩니다. 항공편 출발 후 취소할 경우, 해당 서비스 요금 환불에 10%의 취급 수수료가 부과됩니다. (참고: 승객의 항공권에 대한 환불은 항공권 규정에 따라 처리됩니다.)
    6. 승객이 여행 날짜나 항공편을 변경할 경우, 새 일정에 대한 비동반 미성년자 서비스 요금을 새로 지불해야 합니다. 원래 일정의 서비스 요금은 전액 환불됩니다.
