  • Handling Guidelines for to/from Europe tickets caused by Conflict between India and Pakistan 2025년 05월 07일
     
    ApplicationCI/AE flights cancellation/irregularity time over 2 hours to/from Europe caused by Conflict Between India and Pakistan
    EligibilityPassengers holding CI/AE valid tickets with confirmed bookings to/from Europe on/after 06May (Change regulations are applicable to Dynasty Flyer Program Award Ticket)
    Changea. Within ticket validity, the fare/tax/booking service charge differences and reissue charge, including reissue service charge, shall be waived once provided that Booking class/Carrier/Routing (City) remains unchanged. Flights operated by CI/AE shall not be rebooked to codeshare flights or other airlines flights. Ticket issued on CI website please contact the branch office or Call Center to change the booking.
    b. Within ticket validity, if the above item is not applicable, the difference of fare/tax caused by the change of the booking class/itinerary should be paid by the passenger. The booking service charge difference and reissue charge, including the reissue service charge, shall be waived once.
    Refunda. For totally unused tickets: Full refund can be performed without imposing any refund charge/penalty.
    b. For partially used tickets: Refund charge can be waived.
    c. Chargeable seats and Pre-paid excess baggage can be fully refunded.
    d. Original tickets issued via the CI website, call centers, and the branch offices can apply for a refund via CI Website.
    Group / Free/ Reduced fare TicketsFree and Reduced fare tickets do not apply to the principles above, e.g. ID/AD/DM...etc. For group tickets, please contact your travel agency.

  • Notice for Passengers Travelling to/from Europe 2025년 05월 07일

    China Airlines has activated the relevant protocols in response to the force majeure /extraordinary circumstance caused by the Indo-Pakistani conflict. To ensure the safety of all travelers, crew members, and aircraft within the area affected by this international situation, the following flight changes have been made after an expert assessment:

    Flights CI61 (Taoyuan - Frankfurt) and CI73 (Taoyuan - Amsterdam) on May 6 were diverted to Bangkok where they received a change of crew and refueled before returning to Taipei. These flights will continue onto their original destination once a new route is planned to avoid the affected region. Flights CI67 (Taoyuan - Prague) and CI75 (Taoyuan - Rome) on May 6 have been canceled. Flight CI82 (London - Taoyuan) on May 6 was diverted to Prague where it received a change of crew and refueled before returning to Taoyuan. Flight CI81 (Taoyuan - London) on May 7 has been canceled.

    China Airlines is continuing to monitor the situation and adjusting flight schedules as necessary. For the latest flight changes, please visit the China Airlines website, use the CAL mobile app, or register for SMS notification. We thank all travelers for their patience and understanding.

  • Adjustments to the charge regulations for Unaccompanied Minors 2025년 05월 05일
    Adjustments to the charge regulations for Unaccompanied Minors (UM) on CI/AE international sectors will take effect for tickets issued on or after May 8, 2025, as follows:
    1. Applicable Fares :
      ● Excluding RBD L, Unaccompanied Minors must purchase an adult ticket and also apply to mileage upgrade with confirm booking (RBD-I/P) and award ticket (RBD-O/Z/X).
      ● ID/AD/GE/RG/DM/CG discount ticket types are not applicable.
      ● The same rule applies when minors travel with an adult in a different cabin.
    2. Changes/Cancellation Charge: Processed according to the relevant ticket regulations.

  • 재발행 수수료 조정 2025년 04월 21일
    1. 여행사에서 발권한 항공권을 소지한 상태에서 일정을 변경하려는 경우에는 발권 여행사에 문의하여 재발권받으시기 바랍니다.
    2. 2025년 4월 23일부터 적용되며, 여행사에서 발권한 항공권에 대해 발권 카운터, 고객 서비스 센터 또는 공항에서 재발권을 원하는 경우, 기존 항공권 변경 수수료 및 운임/세금 차액 외에 추가 재발행 수수료가 항공권당 TWD 2000 또는 미화 60달러 상당의 금액으로 부과됩니다. (요금은 할인 및 환불이 불가합니다.)
    3. 해당 수수료가 부과되지 않도록 출발 전에 항공권이 확정된 예약과 일치하는지 확인하고, 예약 확인 없이 공항 카운터로 이동하지 마시기 바랍니다.

    EligibilityPassengers holding CI/AE valid tickets issued on/before 28MAR25 with confirmed bookings to/from BKK/CNX /RGN between 28MAR-15APR25, must submit applications on/before 30JUN25 (Change regulations are applicable to Dynasty Flyer Program Award Ticket).
    Changea. Flights operated by CI/AE shall not be rebooked to codeshare flights or other airlines flights. Ticket issued on CI website please contact the branch office or Call Center to change the booking.
