China Airlines Partners with Michelin One-Star Restaurant T+T to Present Contemporary Asian Cuisine in the Sky

China Airlines, a Taiwan-based carrier, announced its partnership with T+T to serve up an all-new co-branded in-flight menu in all classes and on all flights departing from Taiwan to Europe, Americas, and Oceania beginning January 1, 2026. T+T is famous for its contemporary Asian cuisine and has been awarded one star by the Michelin Guide Taiwan for six years running. The multi-cultural Asian style cuisine of T+T, based on the flavors of Southeast Asia while also incorporating local Taiwanese touches, greatly appealed to China Airlines as a theme for their culinary offerings. Travelers will be able to embark on a journey of culinary exploration during long-distance flights.

China Airlines X Little Tree Food Creative Plant-Based Cuisine in the Sky

China Airlines continues to advance its sustainability program by integrating plant-based dining into its in-flight service. A new partnership with Little Tree Food, the Michelin Green Star and Bib Gourmand restaurant, on an all-new co-branded Vegetarian Lacto-Ovo Meal menu. Starting October 1, 2025, passengers departing from Taipei(Taoyuan) will be able to enjoy Little Tree Food's signature creations in the Western-style breakfast on long-haul routes, as well as in Vegetarian Lacto-Ovo Meal on all routes. This collaboration injects a fresh dimension of health, flavor, and sustainability into the in-flight dining experience.

China Airlines has partnered with MoonMoon Food, eight-time Michelin Bib Gourmand-listed restaurant and the leading brand in Chinese tonic soups, to craft a unique in-flight menu of classic dishes. The family-centric culture of Taiwan is conveyed through local Taiwanese cuisine. The simple, down-to-earth yet plentiful family-style dishes are filled with love and trust.

China Airlines X WOOTEA – Exclusive Co-branded Beverages and Desserts

China Airlines has formed a new collaboration with WOOTEA. As the birthplace of Asian tea culture, Taiwan hosted the emergence of the Bubble Tea in the 1980s and witnessed its evolution into all kinds of creative tea beverages today. Hand-shaken beverage shops have now sprung up across the world as well. In keeping with its philosophy of “Drinks with Style”, WOOTEA is continuing to create original teas that remain true to their traditional roots. “Tea” was the core theme for the latest collaboration on a series of signature foods and beverages. "Care Bears", the beloved character brand, was also adopted to provide cute and healing illustrated elements for the co-branded product packaging exclusive to China Airlines flights. We hope to bring every traveler a feast for both their eyes and their tastebuds.

China Airlines x MIPON Starred Banquet on the Clouds with Classic Taiwanese Cuisine

China Airlines by announcing a partnership with MIPON, the Michelin one star restaurant at the Grand Mayfull Hotel Taipei and start the new “Starred Taiwanese Cuisine on the Clouds” will bring classic Taiwanese dishes to the skies.
Rice forms an important part of Taiwanese culinary culture. MIPON’s Head Chef Chen Yong-Hua uses time-honored cooking skills passed down from experienced chefs to bring back beloved Taiwanese flavors and present the unique elegance of Taiwanese cuisine. “Traditional snacks” are translated into culinary creations while an infusion of Eurasian techniques breathe new life into classic Taiwanese dishes. The result is a veritable kaleidoscope of Taiwanese cuisine that has netted MIPON one Michelin star five years in a row. The latest collaboration on in-flight catering between China Airlines and MIPON drew upon the restaurant’s most popular dishes and in-house menu to produce 15 dishes for all classes. After extensive testing and adjustment based on in-flight conditions, the great hometown flavors of Taiwan will finally be lifted 10,000 feet up.

China Airlines Partners with Le Palais to Bring Taiwan’s Three Michelin Stars to the Skies

China Airlines announced that it is partnering with Le Palais, the only three star Michelin restaurant in Taiwan, to launch the all new Skyward 3-Stars Private Cuisine in-flight menu. The Le Palais restaurant of the Palais de Chine Hotel is a favorite haunt of political and business elites in Taiwan. It is the only restaurant in Taiwan to have received three Michelin stars for eight consecutive years. The restaurant's exquisite Yum Cha offerings and Cantonese banquets have won over Taiwanese and overseas gastronomes. China Airlines partnership with Le Palais is aimed at maximizing the post-COVID recovery in passenger traffic with Michelin-starred cuisine. The menu is inspired by the signature dishes of Ken Chen, Taiwan's first Michelin-starred chef. It incorporates elements of the secret menu, popular with regulars of Le Palais, that perfectly brings Ken’s childhood memories of great flavors to life.
China Airlines on-line exclusive menu, meticulously curated by Le Palais, allows Business Class passengers to pre-select their meals online and enjoy Michelin-starred cuisine above the clouds, delivering a refreshing and elevated inflight dining experience.

China Airlines has partnered with Taipei’s " Toutouan," the only overseas-certified branch of Tokyo’s renowned restaurant " Toutouan," to bring Japanese cuisine with a natural flair to the skies. Passengers can enjoy an elegant Japanese dining experience while in flight.

Located in Akiruno City, Tokyo, Toutouan is a prestigious kaiseki restaurant that has been passed down through three generations. As a sister establishment to the renowned Kurochaya, which boasts over 50 years of history, Toutouan breathes new life into a historic residence that has been preserved and handed down for seventeen generations since the Edo period, transforming it into a refined dining venue and art gallery.

Nestled in the bustling metropolis of Tokyo, Toutouan offers a serene and elegant environment that attracts numerous guests by allowing them to experience the ambiance of nature.

Four top Taiwanese chefs, Jian-fa Shi, Chao-lin Chen, Ho-chin Chang, and Hong-che Kuo, named by the Chinese Gourmet Association were invited by China Airlines to combine their expertise in well-known Taiwanese cuisine and collaborate alongside the China Pacific Catering Services chef’s experience on in-flight catering. 

Together, they created food with distinctive flavors highlighting the regional beauty of Taiwan while overcoming the constraints of in-flight catering and elevating Economy Class meals to new heights.

  • If you have special meal requirements for infants, children, religious dietary restrictions, or health reasons, pre-order for special meals should be made at least 24 hours before your flight departure. If you have any special needs, please contact your local China Airlines branch office or customer service center, we will verify the meal contents to ensure your food safety and health.
  • From December 2022, on the Outbound flights from Taiwan(excluding Taichung), you can enjoy THE MICHELIN Green Star restaurant Yang Ming Spring cuisine by pre-ordering a vegetarian oriental meal(VOML) 24 hours before your flight departure.
  • Meal selection service is not available for some Extra flights, charter flights, unscheduled and code-sharing flights.
  • Due to system restraint, the system is unable to provide changes to meal selections after the Special Meal has been chosen in your reservation. If you need to modify your Special Meal request, please contact our Customer Service Center or China Airlines Branch Offices at your earliest convenience. As meal preparations are managed by local catering services, we are unable to provide or modify Special Meals beyond the pre-order deadline.
