- If you have a ticket issued by a travel agency and wish to change your itinerary, please contact the original issuing travel agency for reissuance.
- Effective from April 23, 2025, if you have a ticket issued by a travel agency and wish to reissue at our ticketing counter, customer service center or airport, in addition to the original ticket change fee and fare/tax differences, an additional Reissue Service Charge TWD 2000 or equivalent USD 60 will be collected per ticket. (The charge is non-discountable and non-refundable.)
- Please confirm that your ticket matches the confirmed reservation before departure to avoid going to the airport counter without a confirmed booking, which may incur this fee.

For totally unused tickets: Full refund can be performed without imposing any refund charge/penalty. b. For partially used tickets: Refund charge can be waived. c. Chargeable seats and Pre-paid excess baggage can be fully refunded. d. Original tickets issued via the CI website, call centers, and the branch offices can apply for a refund via CI Website. Group / Free/ Reduced fare Tickets Free and Reduced fare tickets do not apply to the principles above, e.g. ID/AD/DM...etc. For group tickets, please contact your travel agency.

Starting from March 1st 2025, passengers departing from Incheon Airport must adhere to the following new regulations for carrying power banks:
the ports of the power banks should be covered with insulating tape or protective covers or placed in transparent zip-lock bags or protective pouches, and carried on person or placed in the seat pocket in front. -
Power banks and spare lithium batteries must not be used or charged during the flight from March 1, 2025. 26 Feb, 2025For flight safety, power banks and spare lithium batteries must not be placed in your check-in baggage and should be adequately packaged in your carry-on baggage. Power banks and spare lithium batteries must not be used or charged during the flight. In addition, It is recommended that you do not store power banks in overhead compartments on board.

Effective from the ticket issuance date of March 5, 2025, our company (CI/AE) will adjust the fare regulations for unaccompanied minors on international routes as follows:
- Applicable Fares: Excluding RBD L, Unaccompanied Minors may issue a child fare ticket; minors travel with adults in different cabins also apply the same rule and applying mileage upgrade with confirm booking (RBD-I/P) and award ticket (RBD-O/Z/X).
- UM Service Fee: In addition to the children's tickets, please contact our company at least 72 hours before the flight departure (excluding holidays) to apply for and pay the unaccompanied minor service fee according to the route and cabin.
Short Haul (Including Australia to/from New Zealand) Long Haul Economy Class USD300 (TWD10,000 / CAD450) USD700 (TWD23,500 / CAD1,025) Premium Economy Class USD350 (TWD12,000 / CAD525) USD1,000 (TWD33,000 / CAD1,475) Business Class USD400 (TWD13,500 / CAD600) USD1,700 (TWD56,500 / CAD2,500) - If the passenger's itinerary includes a transfer in Taipei, only one unaccompanied minor service fee will be charged. However, if there is a stopover in Taipei, the service fee will be charged separately for each segment.
- Mileage upgrade passengers need to pay the unaccompanied minor service fee according to the actual cabin.
- If the unaccompanied minor service is canceled before the flight departure, the service fee will be fully refunded. If canceled after the flight departure, a 10% handling fee will be charged for the refund of this service fee. (Note: The refund for the passenger's ticket will still be processed according to the ticket rules)
- When passengers change their travel date or flight, the unaccompanied minor service fee for the new itinerary must be paid, and the service fee for the original itinerary will be fully refunded.
