Normal Operations of China Airlines' Flights to/from Europe Regarding Recent International Developments 5 Mar, 2026
Regarding recent international developments, China Airlines' flights to/from Europe are currently operating normally. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and make timely adjustments to flight schedules and routes as necessary in response to actual operating conditions.
Passengers are advised to check the China Airlines website, download the mobile App, or use the SMS notification service prior to departure to stay updated with the latest flight information.

The UK Home Office (Visas and Immigration) has announced that, starting from 25 February 2026, visa‑exempt travelers entering the United Kingdom must apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) and obtain approval before departure.

Due to the cancellation of our Ishigaki flights CI124 and CI125, we kindly ask you to contact your booking travel agency or the China Airlines Customer Service Center.Passengers who purchased tickets through the China Airlines official website may apply for a full refund via the website without refund charges or penalties.Application CI124(TPE-ISG), CI125(ISG-TPE) Flight Eligibility Passengers holding CI/AE valid tickets with confirmed bookings with confirmed bookings to/from Ishigaki on affect flights (Change regulations are applicable to Dynasty Flyer Program Award Ticket). Change a.Within ticket validity and subject to applicable regulations, the reissue fee/reissue service charge/booking service charge/tax/fuel surcharge/fare difference could be waived once provided that the itinerary/booking class remain unchanged and the new flight date falls within 14 days prior to/after the affected flight.
b. Please contact the branch office or Call Center to change the booking for tickets issued on CI website. If tickets were purchased from a travel agency, please inquire with the travel agent for the relevant assistance.Refund a. Chargeable seats and Pre-paid excess baggage can be fully refunded. d. Original tickets issued via the CI website, call centers, and the branch offices can apply for a refund via CI Website. Group / Free/ Reduced fare Tickets Group / Free/ Reduced fare Tickets Free and Reduced fare tickets do not apply to the principles above, e.g. ID/AD/DM...etc. For group tickets, please contact your travel agency. -
Effective from ticket issuance on 26 JAN 2026, adjustments will be made to the excess baggage charge, prepaid excess baggage charge, and oversized baggage charge. Details are as attachment.

Terminal Change – Important Check-in Information for all China Airlines Flights Departing from Vienna 19 Jan, 2026
Please note that Terminal 1A at Vienna Airport will be closed from 19 January through 22 March 2026.
During this period, check-in for all China Airlines flights will take place exclusively at Terminal 1. There will be no changes to the remainder of your travel itinerary.

Excess baggage charges for Myanmar routes will be adjusted and the prepaid excess baggage service will be suspended 5 Dec, 2025
Effective from the ticket issuance date of 10DEC25, the excess baggage charge to from Myanmar will be adjusted to Zone 5 and the prepaid excess baggage service for this route will be suspended.
