China Airlines Unveils Its First-ever Disney’s “Zootopia 2” Themed Livery Plane

China Airlines (CAL), a Taiwan-based carrier, will introduce Taiwan's first Disney-themed aircraft, decorating with “Zootopia 2,” Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming animated adventure, which will premiere on big screens on November 26.

The new Zootopia 2 themed livery plane which showcases popular characters from “Zootopia 2”, will make its inaugural flight as CI006 from Taipei (Taoyuan) to Los Angeles on November 19. Passengers will be able to experience Disney in the clouds, surrounded by the fun and upbeat characters in “Zootopia 2,” from check-in to cabin services.

The Zootopia 2 themed livery plane will be featured on China Airlines’ long-range 777. The fuselage is decorated with heroes Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, as well as new characters Gary De’Snake and Nibbles Maplestick. Tucked away towards the tail of the aircraft on the left side is Flash, the fan-favorite sloth whose antics will put a smile on every passenger’s face. The Zootopia 2 themed livery plane will initially be based out of Taipei (Taoyuan) and assigned to the Los Angeles, Ontario, Bangkok, Tokyo, and Osaka routes. Passengers are welcome to bring the whole family and embark on a journey to explore world cities.

A dedicated web page for the Zootopia 2 themed livery plane has been launched on the China Airlines website, incorporating the airline’s signature corporate colors. Beloved movie characters have also been added to create a more fun and interactive website to appeal to users. The page offers a wealth of content and will be progressively updated with information about the liveried aircraft, latest events, behind-the-scenes videos, cabin amenities, flight information, and special offers on key routes. Passengers can use this page as a one-stop hub on all the Zootopia 2 themed livery plane updates, as well as booking inquiries and reservations.
