Before boarding, you can print your mobile boarding pass by downloading it or getting a screenshot of it and then saving it. After boarding, you can go to an office of China Airlines to apply for boarding proof. (https://www.china-airlines.com/us/en/contact-us/offices)
Passengers can check in online between 48 hours to 60 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Flights to the United States (including Guam) are subject to local government regulations, and the check-in time is between 24 hours to 60 minutes before departure.
1. For passengers departing on applicable air routes of mobile boarding pass service, they can download the mobile boarding pass on their mobile phones.
2. For passengers departing on non-applicable air routes of mobile boarding pass service, they can print the boarding pass on their own via the e-check-in website.
3. For passengers departing on non-applicable air routes of mobile boarding pass service and self-print boarding pass service, they need to go to China Airlines' airport counters to print their boarding pass.
For passengers departing on applicable air routes of mobile boarding pass service, they can use the mobile boarding pass to get through security checks and the National Immigration Agency to board a China Airlines flight.
Due to restrictions by some governments and airport facilities, the mobile boarding pass is currently applicable only to some air routes. In the future, this service will be extended to more airports and flights.
Yes, as long as your place of departure is a designated airport, you can complete check-in, change seat and download the mobile boarding pass via the CI Mobile APP 60 minutes-48 hours before departure.

You only need to show the VIP lounge staff the VIP lounge invitation sign on your mobile boarding pass.
The paid upgrade service provided by online check-in does not include access to airport VIP Lounge.
