If your ticket purchased via China Airlines website and has not been used or reissued, the refund amount will be credited back to the original payment method within 7 days after the refund is applied online, but the duration of reimbursement will subject to card-issuing banks handling procedures, and the refund/booking service charge will be deducted from the original amount. Tickets purchased via China Airlines website and have been partially flown or reissued, or tickets purchased from Call Center, downtown ticketing office, or airport ticketing counter, the refund duration will vary from case to case.
If your credit card is missing, please complete the credit card verification procedure first. You can request the card issuing bank to apply for relevant documents to help you go through the verification.
China Airlines accepts refund application within two years after the date of ticket issuance.
Yes. As online ticket purchases must be paid for at the time of booking, unpaid purchases will not be kept on our records.
You can complete the credit card verification procedure before departure or show this card to the airport staff at an airport for verification.
For refunds processed online, the funds can only be returned to the original payer's credit card or bank account.
Once you swipe your credit card, an e-ticket is generated. If you want to swipe another card, you are advised to get refund for the ticket first and then re-book a ticket.
If this ticket was bought from a travel agency, you are advised to contact that agency; and if it was bought from a China Airlines counter, please contact that counter to apply for refund. If it was bought on China Airlines website and the whole itinerary hasn't been used yet, you can apply for refund on-line; if you have used it, please contact a China Airlines counter for refund.
After you book a ticket and make the payment, the system will send an e-ticket confirmation letter to your email address, as specified in your passenger profile. You are advised to print the e-ticket and take it with you to the airport counters for check-in.
Yes, but in certain circumstances, you cannot apply for refund on-line. Please refer to the Refund Application web page.
If your ticket was bought from a travel agency, you are advised to contact the original travel agency for refund.
