This information is necessary for airport check-in.
- This service is available for passengers holding valid tickets with CI/AE operating flights (except group bookings). Depending on the fare family products purchased or member tiers, passengers are welcomed to get more space or a better location by securing their favorite seats in advance for free or for some extra charge.
- The advance seat selection of CI/AE operating flights is available for up to 360 days to 50 hours prior to flight departure. For flights departing between 60 minutes to 48 hours, please proceed to “Online Check-in” for seat reservation.
- If a booking record (PNR) includes more than 1 passenger, please enter the full name of any passenger with the booking record number to proceed seat selection.
- With the exceptions of Emerald/Paragon members, seat selection is not available for fare class G.
- All advance seat selection will only be held up to 60 minutes prior to flight departure, and pre-selected seating is subject to change by CI/AE for security, safety or operational reasons.
No. But if you apply for DFP membership, you can accumulate flight mileage, and our website will provide benefit programs for DFP members. You are advised to join DFP to enjoy more services.
After you make your payment and the ticket is issued, we will send an e-ticket confirmation letter to your email address, as specified in your passenger profile. In this letter, the PDF is the e-ticket. You are advised to print it and take it with you to the airport for check-in.
You can make a reservation for a maximum of 9 passengers, including adults, minors and Infants.
Yes. If a flight allows selection of alternative flights, the system will provide alternative options. After you choose an alternative flight and get your booking locator, the system will inform you of the status of the alternative flight within 48 hours. If the flight is confirmed available, please return to the website to make your payment and get the ticket issued within 24 hours. If the flight is not available, you can choose another date on the website or pick another alternative flight.
China Airlines website provides ticket booking and purchase service 80 minutes to 361 days before departure(Ontario: 3 hours to 361 days before departure).
On-line booking refers to booking via China Airlines website. Booking China Airlines tickets on-line provides exclusive services such as special meal order for seat selection.
For booking locators not generated via reservation on China Airlines website, ticket issuance upon payment is not available on the website.
