A Fresh Start We Were There: Finding Your Shared Memories with China Airlines - China Airlines Celebrates 60 Years with Vintage Photo Giveaway

In the 60 years since China Airlines first took to the skies, together we have witnessed the growth and achieved milestones one after the other in Taiwan’s aviation history. To celebrate our 60th anniversary, a new “We Were There: Finding Your Shared Memories with China Airlines” vintage photo event will start today (9/16) with everyone invited to enter and share their own photographic encounters with China Airlines. Eligible entries will go into the draw for 60 hand-picked prizes including China Airlines tickets for European and American routes.

 

No matter where you may be, China Airlines sincerely hopes that you can share with us your most heart-warming moments flght experience over the last 60 years. The subject of your vintage photo can be people, aircraft or the cabin as long as it has an immediately recognizable link to China Airlines. Photos from between 1959 through to 2000 that are representative of their era are preferred. Please include a Chinese or English caption between 30 ~ 100 words in length and send the relevant materials to: cievent@china-airlines.com

 

Time limit for submissions is 23:59 by or before, October 31, 2019. Eligible entries will go into the prize draw for Economy Class return air fares to Europe, America, Oceania, Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia and Hong Kong routes flown by China Airlines, as well as model aircraft in the China Airlines 60th anniversary livery, and other peripheral merchandise.

 

In addition, there is a chance that vintage photos will be featured in the 60th anniversary special edition of the Dynasty in-flight magazine and the China Airlines 60th Anniversary Retrospective Exhibition. China Airlines 60th Anniversary Miles Giveaway/Gift Giveaway. On October 4, a winner of 600,000 frequent flyer miles will be drawn for the “China Airlines 60th Anniversary 600,000 Miles Lucky Draw”; the “We Were There - Finding Your Shared Memories with China Airlines” vintage photo event will also announce the list of 60 winners on December 16 for another wave of miles/gift giveaways.
