In response to the continuing spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), effective from 21 March 2020, China Airlines is introducing the following epidemic prevention measures to protect the health of passengers and crew members.
We respectfully ask for your cooperation and understanding.
  1. All CAL passengers are required to wear a face mask from check-in and during the flight inside the cabin all the time. (except for consuming food and drink).
  2. All CAL passengers must undergo a temperature check before boarding. Any person with a forehead temperature over 37.5°C (99.5°F) or unwilling to cooperate with the policy will not be accepted to board the aircraft.

Entry restrictions and quarantine requirements for entering Taiwan

Mainland ChinaBeijing

1. All foreign passengers are not allowed to transit or enter Mainland China. (Starting from 0:00 on September 28, 2020, the foreigners who hold valid residence permits for work, private affairs, or reunion are allowed to enter into Mainland China. There is no need to re-apply for a visa. Travelers holding the above three types of residence permits that have expired after 0:00 on March 28, 2020, may apply for a renew visa to via the Chinese embassy if their purposes of visiting remain unchanged.)
2. The current visas or relevant documents they holding are not valid for use.
3. Taiwan residents are allowed to enter Beijing by the valid Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents.
4. Suspension of visa-on-arrival (one-time visa for Taiwan residents) for Taiwan residents holding an expired Mainland Travel Permit plus a Taiwan ID card.

Exemptions :
• This does not apply to passengers with a diplomatic, public service, courtesy or C visa.
• This does not apply to passengers with a visa issued after 28 March 2020.

Quarantine measures :
• All inbound passengers arriving in Beijing are required to receive nucleic acid tests and undergo 14 -day centralized quarantine by bearing the relevant fees themselves.
• After the centralized quarantine, passengers are required to quarantine themselves for further 7 days at quarantine hotel, and carry out the self-health monitoring for 7 days afterwards.

Passengers taking Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan return flights between Mainland China are required to present the COVID-19 tested negative certification issued 72 hours prior to the scheduled flight departure for departure and arrival. Please be reminded not to use the test name other than 「COVID-19」 or 「Coronavirus」. Any other test name may result in denied boarding or deportation.

Shanghai

1. All foreign passengers are not allowed to transit or enter Mainland China. (Starting from 0:00 on September 28, 2020, the foreigners who hold valid residence permits for work, private affairs, or reunion are allowed to enter into Mainland China. There is no need to re-apply for a visa. Travelers holding the above three types of residence permits that have expired after 0:00 on March 28, 2020, may apply for a renew visa to via the Chinese embassy if their purposes of visiting remain unchanged.)
2. The current visas or relevant documents they holding are not valid for use.
3. Taiwan residents are allowed to enter Shanghai by the valid Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents or using the Taiwan ID card to apply for a landing visa ( a Single Travel Permit for Taiwan Resident).

Exemptions :
• This does not apply to passengers with a diplomatic, public service, courtesy or C visa.
• This does not apply to passengers with a visa issued after 28 March 2020.

Quarantine measures :
• Effective from 16,May,2021, all arrival passengers are required to undergo 14 days quarantine and 7 days health-monitoring in community. They will get tested of PCR at least 6 times during this period.
•  Passengers bounding for other domestic province but transiting through Shanghai will need to undergo 14 days group quarantine first on arrival and follow the further local quarantine policy of their final destination.
•  Effective from 12 September 2020, those travelers who are heading over to Jiangsu, Zhejiang, or Anhui province are allowed to undergo the group quarantine in Shanghai for 3 days and at their final destination for 11 days.

Xiamen

2. The current visas or relevant documents they holding are not valid for use.
3. Taiwan residents are allowed to enter Xiamen by the valid Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents or using the Taiwan ID card  to apply for a landing visa ( a Single Travel Permit for the Taiwan Resident). 

Exemptions :
• This does not apply to passengers with a diplomatic, public service, courtesy or C visa.
• This does not apply to passengers with a visa issued after 28 March 2020.

Quarantine measures :
• All passengers arriving in Xiamen are required to receive the medical tests and undergo the centralized quarantine for 14 days on their own expenses.
• After the centralized quarantine, the passengers need to receive medical tests again. They will be allowed to leave if their test results are negative/undetected.

Chengdu

1. All foreign passengers are not allowed to transit or enter Mainland China.(Starting from 0:00 on September 28, 2020, the foreigners who hold valid residence permits for work, private affairs, or reunion are allowed to enter into Mainland China. There is no need to re-apply for a visa. Travelers holding the above three types of residence permits that have expired after 0:00 on March 28, 2020, may apply for a renew visa to via the Chinese embassy if their purposes of visiting remain unchanged.)
2. The current visas or relevant documents they holding are not valid for use.
3. Taiwan residents are allowed to enter Chengdu by the valid Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents.
4. Taiwan residents holding the Taiwan ID card and the expired Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents can make the declaration to the immigration of Chengdu via China Airlines to apply for the landing visa ( a Single Travel Permit for the Taiwan Resident) by 24 hours before the flight departure.

Exemptions :
• This does not apply to passengers with a diplomatic, public service, courtesy or C visa.
• This does not apply to passengers with a visa issued after 28 March 2020.

Quarantine measures :
• All passengers, regardless of nationality and place of departure, must undergo 14-day centralized quarantine in quarantine hotels and 7-day home quarantine(prohibited from going out) at their own expense after arrival. Those who do not have a fixed residence will continue to complete the 7-day quarantine in hotel. Therefore, the actual quarantine days are 21 days, and 7 times tests need to be completed within 21 days.
• Passengers transiting in Chengdu must receive nucleic acid tests and undergo centralized quarantine for 14 days;They will only be allowed to bound for destination after receiving passable test results.

North East AsiaJapan

1. All travelers are banned to enter Japan for tourism purpose.
2. All passengers arriving from the restricted countries/ regions will be denied entry. Restricted Regions List (Japanese)
3. Foreign nationals who have stayed in South Africa or U.K. within 14 days prior to the date of application for landing and who hold a visa (marked "EX-R" in the Remark) will NOT be allowed to land in Japan.
4. Passengers holding a valid re-entry permit are no need to present the Re-entry Confirmation letter/documents anymore.

Quarantine Measures :
1. All passengers (including nationals of Japan) are required to present a certificate of negative test result conducted 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of flight departure before boarding and also receive COVID-19 tests after arriving. 2. All passengers are required to undergo a 14-day compulsory quarantine at a Government designated location ( at home or hotel) and not permitted to use public transportation in Japan. Passengers should arrange their door-to-door/rental car services on their own in advance.
3. All travelers entering Japan are required to complete the following documents and device setting after check-in and before arriving in Japan.
(1) Complete the online health declaration before boarding the aircraft. (Chinese/English/Japanese). Passengers are only allowed to disembark from the aircraft after presenting the clear screenshot of the approved QR code at the arrival gate. Online declaration form procedure in detail. (2) Complete the written pledge before disembarkation. (Japanese/English)
(3) Complete the written health card before disembarkation. (Chinese/Japanese/English)
(4) All passengers must have a mobile device to install tracing apps in advance or should rent one at their expense if they don't have it. Inquiry instructions

South Korea

Passengers who meet one of the following criteria are not permitted to enter South Korea:
• Visa exemption entry to Jeju island suspended
• Visa exemption entry suspended for nationals of Japan
• All short-term visas issued before 5 April 2020 are invalid.
• Suspension of the visa on arrival and the visa waiver program over 90 countries.

Exemptions :
•South Korean citizens, permanent residents, spouses and direct family members.
•Airline crew members.
•Holding APEC business card. 
• Holders of a Korea Alien Registration Card, provided they have a Re-Entry Permit (except Diplomats A-1, Government Officials type A-2, A-3)
• Passengers with a Re-Entry Permit (who have left South Korea after 1 June, 2020), providing they have a negative COVID-19 medical certificate in English issued within 48 hours before departure.
• E-9 (employment permit) card holder – providing they have a Confirmation of Self Quarantine E9 form.(English)

Transit Restrictions :
• Only transits permitted at Incheon International Airport within 24 hours.
• Thai and Mongolian nationals are not permitted to transit through South Korea for returning their countries.
• Nationals of Thailand are allowed to transit through Korea if they depart from Thailand and have a confirmed ticket to a 3rd country.
• Passengers intending to travel to Mainland China via South Korea must meet the South Korea’s entry requirements and quarantine for 14 days in the country.

Quarantine Measures :
• All passengers entering Korea will be quarantined with own expense.
*Passengers who are exempted from quarantine must meet the following conditions: 
(1)Those who have completed vaccinations in Korea and re-entered after leaving the country. (Effective from 5 May 2021)
(2)Those who have completed vaccinations outside the Korea in the same country. (Effective from 1 Jul 2021)
Notes: • Only WHO-approved vaccines are allowed: Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Janssen, Moderna, Kobishield, Sinopharm/Sinovac.
• If passengers are entering from a country with a mutated virus, such as South Africa or Brazil etc, passengers cannot be exempt from quarantine even if you have been vaccinated. 
• For more information please refer to Korea Ministry of Health and welfare.

•All passengers on the flight to Korea will undergo fever check at the departure airport. Boarding will be rejected for who have fever with temperature over 37.5'C.
• All passengers entering Korea must have an available phone number
• All passengers must have a mobile device for installing self- quarantine app.

• All passengers are restricted to use public transportation and domestic flights (Jeju residents are excluded)
• All travelers departing from Taiwan should submit the quarantine agreement to airline staff before boarding. (Chinese / Korean)  
• From 15 Jul,2021(Korean time), all passengers regarless of nationalities are required to submit the PCR test negative certificate issued within 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of flight departure before boarding the aircraft. The certificate must include the following information. (1) name/date of birth/passport number;(2) test method: real time PCR;(3) date of test / date of issue;(4) seal stamp of issuing organization. 
*Exception :
(1) Infants (under 6 years of age as of the date of entry) are exempted from negative confirmation if all accompanying persons present an appropriate negative confirmation certificate.
(2) Flight crew, visitors with humanitarian reasons (funeral attendance), and Koreans who are exempted from quarantine for reasons of official business trip are excluded from submission of a negative confirmation certificate.

South East AsiaMalaysia

1. All foreign nationals are not permitted to enter into Malaysia for toursim purpose. Effectvie from 28 April 2021, all foreign travelers originated from India are restricted to enter into Malaysia.
2. Transit passengers are only allowed to take the onward flights in the same terminal within 48 hours. All inbound passengers whoever have the domestic connecting (Sabah/Sarawak) are required to undergo antigen rapid test negative within 5 hours prior to flight departure, otherwise they will not be accepted to board the aircraft.
3. Passengers and Crew members are required to download and activate the MySejahtera app before boarding the flight to Malaysia.

4. All foreigner regardless of holding any types of visa or long -term visit pass including PR and spouse visa, must obtain the valid letter of approval issued by the Director General Immigration of Malaysia for entry.
5. Airline crew are subject to quarantine until their next flight and must install “MySejahtera App” in their phone.

Quarantine Measures :
1. Effective from 25, May, 2021, all travelers including foreigner and malaysian are required to present the COVID-19 tested negative certification within 3 days prior to the flight departure.
2. All arriving passengers will undergo the PCR test upon arrival again and practice self-quarantine for 10-21 days in variety.

IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT OF MALAYSIA
MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS, MALAYSIA

Cambodia

1. Suspension of visa exemption policy and issuance of visa on arrival. Effective from 3 March 2021, the online application of e-visa  is available.
2. To enter the Kingdom of Cambodia, all foreigners must meet the following requirements,
(1). Valid entry visa of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
(2). A negative of COVID-19 medical certificate with hospital stamp issued by local health authorities no more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of flight departure.
(3). A purchasing certificate of officially cooperative insurance printed in color(COVID-19 treatment at USD90 for the package of USD50,000 coverage for the duration of 20 days)
(4). Must make deposits, by cash or credit card of USD 2,000 with the designated commercial banks present at the point of entry. (Passengers booked the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel and Residence or Courtyard by Marriott Phnom Penh as quarantine hotel are exempted from the deposits.)
3. Passengers holding passport of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Cambodian nationals holding foreign passports with Visa K or Diplomats and Officials holding Cambodian Visa A/Visa B etc.  are only required to possess Health Certificate indicating a COVID-19 negative status issued by local health authorities no more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of flight departure.

Quarantine measures :
Upon arrival, all passengers will be sent to the quarantine center to be centrally tested for COVID-19 infection and quarantined for 14 days. From 22 July 2021, the Government of Cambodia launch the reservation service of Soka Phnom Penh Hotel and the Marriott Hotel in Phnom Penh for passengers to book as a quarantine hotel after entry. Besides, passengers are required to make a reservation 2 days prior to departure and present proof of booking upon arrival. Passengers who do not book the above-mentioned hotels are required to stay at the designated quarantine hotel arranged by the government and have a test on the 13th day at the designated hospital at their own expense.In addition,the deposit will be refunded after receiving the negative test result.

Vietnam

1. All passengers are not permitted to enter Vietnam.
2. All arrival flights are not allowed to carry passengers. 
3. If the airlines want to transport Vietnamese citizens back to their country, they must get the opinion of the Vietnamese diplomatic unit in the host country.

Exemptions:
• Diplomatic / official passport holders
• Other special circumstances (such as foreign visitors attending or serving important event) ; except experts, business managers, high-skilled workers, and others who have been approved by the National Center for New Coronavirus Prevention)
• Foreigner professionals should present PCR tested negative within 3-5 days and insurance covering medical expenses or a letter of guarantee from inviting units for entry. The professionals confirmed COVID-19 positive should bear all medical fees by themselves since 5,August.

Quarantine requirements:
• All passengers are required to wear full set personal protective equipment including face shield and undergo a 21-day mandatory quarantine upon arrival.
• All passengers are required to fill out a health declaration form (English) prior to their arrival in Vietnam.

Others :
• Suspension of the Visa on Arrival and the visa waiver program to all nationals.
• Suspension of visa exemption for Vietnamese or family members of Vietnamese holding foreign passport. 

Myanmar1. Suspension of all commercial return flights to Myanmar.
2. Suspension of the issuance of all types of visa to all foreign nationals, except diplomats accredited to Myanmar, United Nations officials resident in Myanmar.
3. All diplomats accredited to Myanmar and United Nations officials resident in Myanmar may obtain entry visas through respective Myanmar Missions abroad. They shall be required to provide certification of the absence of COVID-19 infection issued by a recognized laboratory no more than 72 hours prior to the date of travel and before boarding any aircraft destined for Myanmar. They shall be subject to be quarantined for 14 days on their arrival in Myanmar.
4. Residents of the UK and North Ireland and travelers who had visited UK and North Ireland during the past 14 days are restricted to enter.
Thailand

1. Suspension of all general commercial return flights to Thailand. The ""Semi-Commercial"" return flights to Thailand will start from November 2020.
2. All foreign passengers are banned to enter by landing visa.
3. This does not apply to state or military aircraft, emergency landing, technical landing without disembarkation, humanitarian aid, medical, relief and repatriation flights.
4. Effective from 6 May 2021 , all arriving passengers are subject to quarantine for 14 days upon arrival and are not allowed to transfer immediately from an International flight to a domestic flight.
5. Passengers are allowed to transit through Suvarnabhumi airport, Bangkok (BKK) internationally within 12 hours. Passengers are required to stay at the designated area while waiting for transit. (Please check with your airlines in advance)

Exemptions :
• Thai nationals.
• People permitted or invited by the Thai prime minister, or the head of responsible people accountable for resolving state of emergency issues.
• Individuals visiting for the purpose of diplomatic missions, consular affairs, international organizations, government representatives, foreign government agencies working in Thailand, or individuals in other international agencies as permitted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including their spouse, parents, or children.
• The spouse, parents, or children of a Thai national.
• Foreign nationals holding a valid certificate of residence, or permission to take up residence in the Kingdom.
• Foreign nationals holding a valid work permit or are allowed to work in the Kingdom, including their spouse or children.
• Foreign nationals who are students of educational institutions approved by Thai authorities, including the parents or guardians of the students. (Except for students of non-formal schools in accordance with laws on private schools or of any other similar private educational establishments)
• Foreign nationals who are in need of medical treatment in Thailand, and their attendants. (Not include medical treatment for COVID-19.)
• Foreign nationals who are permitted to enter the Kingdom under a special arrangement
• Carriers of necessary goods, subject to immediate return after completion.
• Crew members who are required to travel into the Kingdom on a mission, and have a specified date and time for return.
• Tourism Sandbox Programme Travellers are allowed to entry. However, only Phuket (from 01,Jul 2021) and Samui (from 15,Jul 2021) are designated areas : For those who are fully vaccinated no less than 14 days before departure, and vaccine must be registered with the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand or approved by WHO. Required Entry documents:
Thai Nationals : Thai Nationals : The documents from (1) through (3) as below are required.
Non-Thai Nationals : The documents from (1) through (6) as below are required.
(1) A valid passport.
(2) Certificate of Entry (COE). The official website (Thai/English)
(3) AQ booking confirmation on arrival date. Website
(4) Valid Thai visa or re-entry permit.
(5) Medical certificate with a laboratory result indicating that COVID -19 is not detected, using RT-PCR test issued no more than 72 hours before the scheduled time of flight departure.
(6) Medical insurance or letter from employer guaranteeing that the insurance company or employer will cover a minimum of 100,000 USD (or equivalent in other currencies) of medical costs incurred by the applicant in Thailand, including medical costs in the event that applicant contracts COVID-19. (The insurance must cover the whole duration of stay in Thailand.)

Thailand Plus 

Philippines

1. Foreign passengers without valid entry visa and DFA exemption letters if so required by the visa category by Philippine immigration are not allowed to enter.
2. Suspension of all visa exemptions and visa on arrival facilities.
3. Filipinos who are dual citizens should hold a valid Filipino passport (or a travel document), Identification Certificate, or Certificate of Re-acquisition / Retention of Citizenship. If the Filipino national only brings the Oath of Allegiance and not any of the above, entry into the Philippines will not be allowed.
4. Effective from 25, February 2021, Travelers holding expired Re-Entry Permit (RP) or Special Return Certificate (SRC) are still allowed to enter the Philippines.
5. All arriving passengers coming from, or who have been to the following travel-restricted countries within the last fourteen(14) days shall not be allowed to entry :
  (1) Malaysia, Thailand. (Effective 25, July 2021 Manila time)
  (2) Indonesia. (Effective 16, Jul 2021 Manila time)
  (3) India, Pakistan, Nepal, Srilank, Bangladesh, Oman and United Arab Emirates. (Effective 13, May 2021)

Exemptions :
• Filipino citizens (i.e., Philippine passport holders or those with proof of Philippines Citizenship (such as Identification certificate or Certificate of Retention/Reacquisition of Philippine Citizenship).
• Spouse and minor children of Filipino citizens travelling together, provided they have valid visas (new or existing visas).
• Foreign nationals with valid entry exemption document issued by the Department of Foreign Affairs during the duration of the travel restrictions (DFA Exemption from the Temporary Suspension of Visa Issuance for Foreign Nationals from Travel-Restricted Countries).
• Accredited foreign diplomats and international organisations such as World Health Organisation and United Nations 9(e) visa holders or diplomatic/official/regular passport holder with valid 47(a)(2) visa and DFA authorization.
• Foreign dignitaries (with DFA authorisation).
• Those for medical and emergency cases, including their medical escorts. (If any, they should have valid 9(a) visa and DFA authorisation.)

Quarantine measures :
• From 01JUL2021, arriving passengers who are fully vaccinated in the Philippines regardless of travel history, and those vaccinated abroad who stayed exclusively  in “Green” countries(including Taiwan) in the past fourteen days will undergo 7 days quarantine. In addition, Passengers should prebook quarantine hotel with proofs of vaccination card and subject to COVID-19 testing at the quarantine hotel on the 5th day from date of arrival. *note: (1) 7 days means 7 nights due included 24 hours of a day.
          (2) fully vaccinated means: at least 2 weeks completion of first or second dose before arrival.
          (3) vaccine brand should acknowledged by philippine government or WHO.
          (4) Those fully vaccinated must carry their vaccination certification prior to departure.
• Foreign nationals of not fully vaccinated (except for Section 9(e) visa holders) shall present a pre-booked accommodation for at least 10 nights in an accredited quarantine hotel at the immigration counters for initial check. Those who fail to present a pre-booked accommodation shall be denied entry and shall be boarded immediately in the next available flight. In addition, passengers should subject to COVID-19 testing at the quarantine hotel on the 7th day from date of arrival.
• All passengers entering or departing from the Philippines are required to wear a face mask and face shield on board the flight, as well as in the Philippines’ airport terminals.
• All passengers entering or departing from the Philippines are required to download the TRAZE Contacting APP. Passengers who refuse to follow the rule will be denied entry to the terminal or boarding the aircraft.
• From 15,Jul2021, all arriving passengers must fill out the E-Health Declaration Checklist before boarding.

Indonesia

1. Suspension of all visa-on-arrival and visa-waiver policies.
2. Indonesian passengers are allowed to entry but should comply with government's quarantine regulations.
3. Foreign passengers still suspend direct flights to enter or transit in Indonesia.
4. From 24:00 on July 23, 2021,foreign passengers who are allowed to enter and transit are limited as following : 
  (1) Passengers with a diplomatic or public service stay permit
  (2) Passengers with a diplomatic or public service visa
  (3) Passengers with a Limited Stay Permit (KITAS) or Permanent Residence Permit (KITAP)
  (4) Based on humanitarian or medical considerations, foreigners approved by the Covid-19 Indonesian official agency.
  (5) Crew members entering with aircraft or ship. 
Notes: Holders of valid visas issued previously by Indonesia but not covered by the above will not be allowed to entry from the time of the announcement. 
5. All passengers are not allowed to transit through domestic flights from international flights before finishing the quarantine.

Quarantine measures :
1. All arriving passengers are required to present fully vaccinated certificate(paper or digital).
Note: (1) Indonesian travellers who are not vaccinated before entry will be given the vaccine directly after obtaining the second PCR negative result during quarantine.
         (2) Full vaccines certificate must be bilingual version in English and local language. Besides, the certificate must have''full name'', completion of ''two doses'' and the ''same kind'' of vaccine. 
         (3) At present, passengers under the age of 18 also need to be vaccinated before entry. The Indonesian authorities may modify this rule in the future, but before the adjustment, all passengers regardless of age must be vaccinated before entry.
2. Travelers allowed to enter must have a negative PCR test result issued within 72 hours (starting from the test time and including weekends) prior to the scheduled flight departure time regardless of their nationalities.
3. All travelers entering Indonesia are required to complete the online health declaration before boarding the aircraft and submit the clear screenshot of the approval upon arrival.
4. All arriving passengers are required to stay in government-designated quarantine hotels for 8 days and undergo two PCR tests on the 1st and 7th days of arrival. Those who have completed 8 days of quarantine and tested negative for twice of PCR results may enter to Indonesian community (but passengers are still recommended to stay at home for 14 days) ; in contrast, while PCR results are positive, passengers will be transferred to the hospital. Indonesian travelers and Indonesian government officials are available at the government's expense for staying in quarantine hotels and PCR tests, while foreigners are required to pay for it at their own expense.
5. Foreign travelers who are exempted from quarantine(1-3 as below) or presenting vaccination certificate(1-7 as below) are as follows,
(1) Persons holding diplomatic or public service visa for official duty.
(2) Government Officials over Minister.
(3) Passengers entering through Travel Corridor Arrangement.
(4) Foreigners under 12 years old who travel together with parents entering Indonesia or will have domestic travelling.
(5) Foreigners who cannot vaccinated due to medical condition but must bring a certification from a specialist doctor or other medical records specifying that said foreigner not yet or unable to get Covid19 vaccination.
(6) For foreigner who wants to depart out of Indonesia (without travelling on a domestic travel or direct from Jakarta) or the flight crews preparing to leave Indonesia.
(7) International passengers who want to take Indonesia domestic flight to transfer to international flight must present the ticket certificate to the airline and Indonesia airport, and must not leave the airport during the transit period.

Hong Kong

Only residents with the following documents will be permitted to enter Hong Kong. Non-Hong Kong residents will be denied entry.
1. Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card or Hong Kong Identity Card that:
1. bears the “asterisk” or “A” or “R”code
2. bears the “C”code (provided that it is accompanied by a valid work visa or study visa)
3. bears the “U”code (Note: this type of HKID is subject to approval from Hong Kong Immigration prior to acceptance at check-in)
4. Hong Kong SAR passport
5. Hong Kong Document of Identity

Entry restriction exemptions :
1. Passengers travelling from the Mainland China, Macao, and have not been to any other country/region in the past 21 days.
2. Passengers travelling from any of the‘Group D – low risk regions’ and haven’t been to any other country in the past 21 days.
3. Diplomatic/official passport holders (subject to prevailing visa requirements)
4. The spouse and children of Hong Kong residents
5. Local government personnel performing official duties
6. Personnel approved by the Hong Kong SAR government to carry out anti-pandemic work
7. Passengers holding a new entry visa to work, study, establish or join in any business, or to take up residence in Hong Kong

Note: Passengers falling into this exemption category must still possess a travel document that would allow them to stay in Hong Kong for a minimum of 14 days, in order to meet the compulsory quarantine requirements. Otherwise their entry will be rejected.


Quarantine measures :
• All passengers are required to complete the online health declaration before boarding the aircraft.
• In response to the pandemic, the Hong Kong government has set different quarantine requirements and entry restrictions on different regions. Taiwan is no belongingt any group now so travelers will be subject to different mandatory quarantine days and frequency of testing depending on whether they have got vaccinated or not. Passengers are required to present a confirmation of their reservation for a Hong Kong designated quarantine hotel in either English or Chinese before boarding the aircraft, with a clear indication that the period of stay will be no less than 14 or 21 nights from the day of arrival in Hong Kong.
• List  of COVID-19 Vaccines Recognised for Specified Purposes
•From 26 June 2021, the Government specifies that the relevant test must be a polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-based nucleic acid test. Results of tests conducted using other testing platforms (e.g. reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification, RT-LAMP) cannot be considered to have fulfilled the relevant specified boarding requirement. And also a document (electronic format is acceptable) in Chinese or English issued by the relevant authority, certifying that the test laboratory is recognized or approved by the government / ISO 15189. Passengers transfering in Hong Kong are not affected by this change, please confirm that passengers meet the entry requirements for their final destination.

Remarks:
Transit restrictions :
• The transit passenger's should be contained in a single booking and the connection time between flights is within 24 hours.
• The transit passengers must have been issued their onward boarding pass(es) from origin and their baggage must be checked through to the final destination.
• Transiting to and from destinations in Mainland China is not available.
• All sea-to-air and air-to-sea transit services have been suspended.
• The part of sea-to-air transit services resume from 28 October 2020.

Palau1. National of Taiwan may entry Palau for 90 days visa-free. Passengers except for holding working visa or other resident document need to submit return ticket before boarding.
2.Travellers must submit proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination with final dose administered at least fourteen (14) days prior to departure to the Republic. Vaccine received must be approved or authorized for emergency use by either the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or the World Health Organization (WHO). **For commercial air travel, travelers must submit proof to the airline.
3. Unvaccinated individuals under 12 years of age are permitted to travel to the Republic and must adhere to all other requirements of this section;Children Under 3 years of age are exempt from the requirement to be COVID-19 tested prior to travel into the Republic.
4. All Travelers shall be COVID-19 tested on the fifth (5th) day following their arrival to the Republic and are required to follow the Mitigation Orders issued upon arrival.

Isolation requirement: Any person determined to have been exposed to COVID-19 or shall undergo mandatory quarantine for a period up to fourteen (14) days.
Quarantine requirement: Any person who has had direct contact with a person infected by COVID-19 shall be considered to have been exposed to COVID-19 and quarantined for a period up to fourteen (14) days; any person who has had indirect contact with COVID-19, such as contact with potentially contaminated surfaces, may be considered to have been exposed to COVID-19 and quarantined for an appropriate period; any person who has had indirect contact with a person who has been exposed to COVID-19 may be considered to have been exposed to COVID-19 and quarantined for an appropriate period.

**No exemptions to the isolation or quarantine requirements of this directive may be made, except by the Director of Public Health and in writing. The Director of Public Health may issue exemptions on an individual, case-by-case basis, only based on an articulable medical justification.

Singapore
1. Short-term visitors are not allowed to enter or transit through Singapore in principle. (some countries are exempted).
2. Suspension of all forms of Visas (including short-term and multiple-visit visas) issuance and previously issued visas to those with People’s Republic of China and Iranian passports will apply.
3. For more updated details, please refer to the Singapore Immigration Checkpoints Authority (ICA) website
4. Business travel is prohibited for those who have visited South Africa and the United Kingdom within the past 14 days.

Exemptions :
• Work pass holders (regardless of nationality) are required to obtain an approval letter from the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM). MOM will ONLY allow the entry/return of work pass holders (including their dependents) for those providing essential services, such as in healthcare and transport.
• All holders of the Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) issued by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), including those who have been granted In-Principle Approval (IPA) by ICA for LTVP, will require an approval letter of entry by ICA to gain entry into Singapore.
• All Student Pass (STP) holders, including those who have been granted In-Principle Approval (IPA) by ICA for STP, will require an approval letter of entry by MOE to gain entry into Singapore.
• The approval letter of entry by ICA for LTVP holders, or by MOE for STP holders, is valid for two weeks. These LTVP and STP holders must produce such approval letter of entry to airline staff at check-in at the point of departure, and to the ICA officer at the checkpoint upon arrival in Singapore.
• Passengers holding a "Pre-approved Business Pass" issued by the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) are alowed to enter Singapore, subject to the conditions stipulated by MTI. Passengers must produce the hardcopy of this Pass to airline staff at check-in at the point of departure, and to the ICA officer at the checkpoint upon arrival in Singapore.
• Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and Long-Term Pass holders are not required to apply for an ATP to travel to Singapore from Taiwan. However, Long-Term Pass holders will still be required to have an Approval Letter of Entry issued by the ICA, the Ministry of Manpower or the Ministry of Education.

Quarantine measures:
1. All allowed visitors such as citizens, permanent residents and long term pass holders entering Singapore to serve a 7 to 21 days self-isolation at dedicated SHN facilities. ( Not applicable to the low-risk region/country). For more updated details, please refer to the Minster of Health, Singapore official website . Visitors from Taiwan entering Singapore are required to register and make payment at the arrival PCR test website before departing for Singapore.
2.All travelers entering Singapore must submit the online health declaration before arrival. Those who make false declarations will be liable for prosecution under the Infectious Diseases Act.
3. Effective from 9 December 2020, all inbound passengers taking CI flights are required to submit the written basic health assessment before boarding the aircraft. To lessen the contact with crowded and to shorten the waiting time for check-in, passengers are allowed to download the assessment form in advance. Please print it out, fill out the form then submit to CI ground staff at the airport.
4. From 27 June 2021, 23:59 hours (Singapore time), travellers above 3 years of age( those born in or before 2018) entering or transiting through Singapore (including SCs and PRs), except for those who have stayed in lower-risk countries/regions (Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Mainland China, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Macao.) throughout the last 21 days before departure for Singapore, will need to present a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours before departure for Singapore and register for their on-arrival COVID-19 PCR test. All travellers will also be required to present their valid COVID-19 PCR test result while checking-in at the airline counter and submit it when they arrive in Singapore. The certificate must be in English and state (1) the test result; (2) the date that the test was taken; (3) the name, date of birth, nationality and passport number of the passenger as indicated in his/her passport. 
5. With effect from 12 July 2021, 2359 hours (Singapore time), until further notice, all travellers with travel history to Indonesia within the last 21 days will:
(a) not be allowed to transit or transfer through Singapore; and
(b) those entering Singapore will be required to take a COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours of their flight to Singapore.
ICA Safe travel
6. The test result memo must be from recognized laboratories that are internationally accredited or recognized by the respective governments. It will affect their ability to obtain or sponsor immigration facilities in the future if any passenger found to have produced false or forged COVID-19 test certificates.
7. Passenger who has recovered from a past diagnosis of COVID-19 must produce his/her first ever positive COVID-19 PCR test result memo. The passenger is allowed boarding only if the date of that first ever positive COVID-19 PCR test result is between 22 and 180 days prior to the date of arrival in Singapore.

Remarks: 
The passenger will not be allowed to board the aircraft if he/she –
(1) has a fever, cough, runny nose, sore throat, anosmia, or shortness of breath;
(2) has been diagnosed or suspected to have COVID-19 infection in the last 21 days;
(3) has had close contact with any case of COVID-19 in the last 14 days; or
(4) displays any of COVID-19 symptoms; and
2. The passenger has to comply with Singapore’s public health and immigration requirements as specified on the website of the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority.
South AsiaIndia1. With Immediate effect, foreign passengers holding a valid visa (Except for the Tourism, Medical, and E-Visa) are allowed to enter India.
2. All arriving passengers are required to hold PCR negative report tested within 72 hours before flight arrival. Passengers without PCR certificate must pay 3,400 INR at their expense for the PCR test upon arrival, and wait 4 to 6 hours until the test result be noted at the airport. All international passengers are required to complete the online health declaration before taking flight and print out 2 copies for submitting to the immigration.
3. All passengers are required to wear full personal protective equipment. (Goggles, mask, gloves)
4. Passengers who have submitted the Quarantine exemption form online in advance due to humanitarian reasons such as pregnancy or advanced disease are allowed to shorten their group quarantine period to 7 days at the designated place/hotel and 7 days at their home afterward. Passengers who don't submit the exemption form in advance are required to undergo 14 days group quarantine at the designated place/hotel.
5. All international transit are not allowed.
North AmericaCanada

Entry restrictions : Only the following passengers are permitted to enter Canada
• Canadian citizens, the permanent residents and their immediate family members. The immediate family members are defined as: the spouse or common-law partner of the person; their dependent child ; their parent or step-parent ; their guardian or tutor.
• A person travelling on a diplomatic passport.
• A person who is authorized by Canada government in writing.
• A person who is under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations and their immediate family members.
• A person who enters Canada at the invitation of the government for the purpose of assisting in the COVID-19 response.
• A person whose presence in Canada, in the opinion of the officials, is in the national interest.
• Foreign National with a valid Canadian work permit.
• Foreign National with a valid Canadian study permit.
• Foreign National holding an approval letter to obtain a work permit in Canada.
• Foreign National approved to study. (Approval letter dated before 18 March 2020.)
• Accredited diplomats and their immediate family members. 
• A person who takes up a post as a diplomat, consular officer, representative or official of a country other than Canada, of the United Nations or any of its agencies or of any intergovernmental organisation of which Canada is a member, and the immediate family members of that person, are allowed to enter Canada.
• Starting June 21, 2021, any foreign national who holds a valid Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) or IM-1 immigrant visa may travel to Canada. **Notice: For applicants with expired COPRs issued after March 18, 2020, more information on when and how to obtain a new COPR will be available on IRCC’s website.

• From August 9, 2021, Canada plans to begin allowing entry to American citizens and permanent residents, who are currently residing in the United States, and have been fully vaccinated(Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson) at least 14 days prior to entering Canada for non-essential travel.
• Other fully vaccinated foreign nationals coming to Canada for discretionary (non-essential) purposes intended to start on September 7, 2021.

Foreign nationals are allowed to transit through Canada internationally but they should meet the following conditions:
• The customer must not present any symptoms of COVID-19.
• The customer must have a confirmed onward flight outside of Canada.
• The customer must not leave the airport.
• The customer must satisfy all other documentary requirements (e.g. ETA, transit visa etc.)

Quarantine requirement

1.All travellers must use ArriveCAN (app or web portal) to submit their travel information.
2.Effective August 9, 2021, international flights carrying passengers will be permitted to land at the following five additional Canadian airports:
•Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
•Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport.
•Ottawa Macdonald–Cartier International Airport.
•Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport.
•Edmonton International Airport.
3.The Government of Canada is adjusting its post-arrival testing strategy for fully vaccinated travellers. Using a new border testing surveillance program at airports and land border crossings, fully vaccinated travellers will not need a post-arrival test unless they have been randomly selected to complete a Day-1 COVID-19 molecular test.
4.There are no changes to the mandatory testing requirements for unvaccinated travellers. All passengers entering Canada are required to undergo PCR test again upon arrival (Sign up : https://www.lifelabs.com/YVRtest ).Passengers tested negative will be allowed to perform the self-quarantine at their home for 14 days. However, if tested positive, they will be transferred to the designated quarantine hotel. Besides, all passengers are required to take a PCR test at the end of their 14-day quarantine period.
5.With the advent of increased vaccination rates in Canada, declining COVID-19 cases and reduced pressure on health care capacity, the three-night government authorized hotel stay requirement will be eliminated for all travellers arriving by air as of 12:01 A.M. EDT on August 9. However, all travelers, including fully vaccinated travelers, must provide a suitable quarantine plan. Final determination regarding exemptions is made by a government representative at the border based on the information presented at the time of entry into Canada.
6.All passengers must be in possession of a face mask, before boarding any flight to Canada and undergo a temperature screen but they can’t board a flight if their temperature is over 38 degrees unless they hold a medical certificate indicating their fever is not COVID-19 related.
7.Regardless of vaccination, all passengers five years of age or older, be required to present documentation of a negative laboratory test for COVID-19. The test must be performed using a COVID-19 molecular polymerase chain reaction (or PCR) test within 72 hours prior to boarding a flight. The test report presented in English or French is preferable and travelers must ensure that the negative laboratory test result includes the following data elements : (1)Traveller name and date of birth;(2)Name and civic address of the laboratory/clinic/facility that administered the test;(3)The date/time on which the test was conducted;(4)The method of test conducted (e.g. PCR or LAMP);(5)The test result (such as“negative”or“not detected”)
8.Travellers who take a connecting domestic flight are required to stay at a hotel in the first city they arrive in Canada. International transit passengers are excluded.

Non-US citizens and residents who have visited/transited through the following regions in the past 14 days are not permitted to enter: 
Mainland China, Iran, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway,  Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Ireland, India and South Africa.

Exemptions:
1. US citizens / lawful permanent residents including their spouse, parents, legal guardian, siblings (unmarried and under the age of 21 years), etc.
2. Foreign government officials or an immediate family member of an official who originated in, transferred from, or transited through the aforementioned countries/regions in the past 14 days. (Visa Types : A-1, A-2, C-1,C1-D, C-2, C-3, CR-1, CR-2, D, E-1, G-1, G-2, G-3, G-4, IR-1, IR-4, IH-4, NATO-1, NATO-2, NATO-3, NATO-4, or NATO-6)
3. U.S. Armed Forces and their spouses and children.

Quarantine requirements :
• Passengers are subject to the measures set by the state/territory of their final destination. More information can be found at the official websites (English).
•From 25June 2021, travelers arriving in New York are no longer required to submit traveler health forms.
• Passengers over age of 16 entering Los Angeles must fill up the Online Traveler Form (English) before arrival. Failure to submit the form may result in a fine.
• If you are not fully vaccinated, you need to get tested with a viral-test 3-5 days after travel and stay home and self-quarantine for a full 7 days after travel; If you don’t get tested, you need to stay home and self-quarantine for 10 days after travel. For fully vaccinated people and detailed restrictions, please refer to USA CDC official website.
• Starting from 26 January 2021, all passengers aged 2 or older must present an English version of the COVID-19 negative test report issued 3 calendar days before boarding for entering and transiting the United States. The report must contain the following information. (1) The name and date of birth of the passenger matching the travel document, (2) Type of test (NAAT or Viral Antigen test), (3) Test date, (4) Test result (negative or undetected). Those who have been infected with COVID-19 in the past three months before departure but have recovered must provide proof of recovery. It will be checked upon disembarkation.
• Upon arrival in the United States, public health officials may randomly check the COVID-19 test results or the documentation of COVID-19 recovery that you were required to show when you boarded this flight.  If your COVID-19 test result or your documentation of recovery is electronic and on a mobile device, preload  this information for inspection. Internet access may not be available at the airport when we land, so you may need to have a screen capture (or a screen shot/picture of the documentation) on your mobile device to show your test result or documentation of recovery.
• Pursuant to the US federal law and in order to reduce the waiting time for passengers to check in, please download and complete 1 copy of the attestation form before heading to the airport, and bring it to the airport for check and filing by China Airlines ground staff.
• All passengers must be in possession of a face mask, before boarding any flight to USA.

OceaniaAustralia

1. Passenger can travel to Australia if he or she an Australian citizen, or an Australian permanent resident.
2. New Zealand citizens who normally reside in Australia (with a subclass 444 visa or other permanent or provisional visa) can also come to Australia. 
3. Immediate family of Australian citizen, or an Australian permanent resident (spouses, legal guardians or dependents only) or Passenger with special circumstances can also apply for an Travel Exemption. Passengers who are not granted an exemption will not be permitted to board a flight to Australia. Passengers who are granted a travel exemption will need to take evidence of that exemption decision to the airport. The airline will need the exemption document to liaise with the Australian Border Force to verify your travel exemption status.

Quarantine requirements:
• Unless arriving on a quarantine-free flight from New Zealand, all travellers arriving in Australia, including Australian citizens, must quarantine for 14 days at a designated facility, such as a hotel in the city of arrival. Passenger may be required to pay for the costs of your quarantine. To find out more about quarantine requirements, you may refer to the website of Department of Health, Australia.
• Travellers are required to complete the Australia Travel Declaration a minimum of 72 hours before their departure for Australia. Once they have completed the Australia Travel Declaration, they will receive an email with details to be shown (either electronically or printed) to airline staff prior to boarding. If a traveller does not complete the Australia Travel Declaration it may result in the traveller not being able to board their flight.
• Travellers entering Australia from Brisbane are required to complete the Queensland International Arrivals Registration 72 hours prior to arrival and submit the clear screenshot of the approved QR code upon arrival.
• Arriving passenger under 18 years old must stay at the quarantine hotel with one guardian at their own expense.
• Effective from 22 January 2021, all passengers are required to submit the COVID-19 test negative certificate issued within 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of flight dearture (Children under 5 years old are exempted). The certificate must include the following information : (1) Traveller name and date of birth; (2) The test result (such as ‘negative’ or ‘not detected’); (3) The method of test conducted e.g. PCR test; (4) The date the specimen was collected; (5) The date the test result was authorised and the name of the authorising officer; (6) Name and address of the laboratory / clinic / facility that administered the test; (7) Accreditation body that the laboratory is affiliated with, if known.


New Zealand

All foreign travelers are banned to enter.

Exemptions:
1. Nationals of New Zealand (including Cook Island, Niue, Tokelau and Australia exclude any one from Victoria till at least 11:59pm (NZT) on Thursday 10 June.
2. The immediate family members of nationals of New Zealand.
3. Passengers with a permanent resident visa and their immediate family members.
4. Nationals or permanent residents of Australia ordinarily resident in New Zealand.
5. Diplomats with approval.
6. Humanitarian reasons
7. Health and other essential workers
8. Citizens of Samoa and Tonga for essential travel to New Zealand
9. The holder of a visitor visa who is the partner or dependant of a temporary work or student visa holder and who normally lives in New Zealand and is currently in New Zealand.

Quarantine Measures : 
1. Passengers are subject to medical screening and quarantine for 14 days on arrival.Passengers must show to the airline the voucher confirming their allocation to a place in managed isolation while checking in. For more details, please visit the Managed Isolation Allocation System
2. Airline crew must use appropriate personal protective equipment. They are not subject to quarantine.
3. Effective from 26 January 2021, all international travelers (except those from Australia, Antarctica and most Pacific islands) arriving in New Zealand must present a Covid-19 test negative result taken no more than 72 hours prior to the scheduled time of flight departure. The certificate must include the following information. (1) traveller’s name; (2) traveller’s date of birth; (3) date and time the test was conducted; (4) name of testing lab; (5) test type (RT-PCR / LAMP / antigen tests); (6) test result. Exemptions :
1. Nationals of Australia and New Zealand.
2. Residents of New Zealand.
3. Passengers with a visa issued by New Zealand.

Europe

Netherlands

A temporary travel restriction is in place for travel from any country outside the EU to the following countries:

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden,Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Switzerland  

Exemptions :
• Nationals of all EU countries and their family members
• Citizens of the United Kingdom and their family members
• Health care personnel
• Border workers
• Seafarers in possession of a seaman’s book (except seafarers on commercial and pleasure yachts)
• Diplomats
• Military personnel
• Personnel of international and humanitarian organizations / persons admitted for humanitarian reasons
• Transit passengers who want to travel via the Netherlands or another Schengen country to another third country (outside the EU) and who do not leave the international transit zone of the airport
• Students
• Highly skilled migrants
• Visiting a terminally ill family member and attending a funeral.
• The EU travel ban does not apply to people who live in a safe country and travel to the Netherlands. No matter their nationality or trip purpose.

Quarantine Requirements :

• From August 8, 2021, passengers who have not been fully vaccinated from low-risk countries (including Taiwan) to the Netherlands must submit a negative COVID-19 NAAT(PCR) test result within 48 hours before departure or a negative antigen test result within 24 hours before departure (children under 12 years of age are exempted). Passengers who have been fully vaccinated should either submit the above test result or vaccination certificate. Besides,passengers departing from low-risk countries are only required to be tested after arrival, and do not need to be quarantined.

Germany

The following passengers are allowed to enter.
1. From June 19, 2021, passengers of all nationalities, with the exception of German citizens, will be subject to a travel ban on non-essential entry into Germany. EU citizens and other nationals with German residency, public health researchers and aged care workers, are exempt from the travel ban.
2. From 20 June until 31 July 2021, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Albania, Israel, Lebanon, Northern Macedonia and Serbia were exempt from the travel ban.

Exemptions :
• Nationals of all EU countries and the associated countries (this includes nationals of the United Kingdom)
• Nationals of Germany
• Passengers with a residence permit issued by Germany
• Passengers with a visa issued by Germany after 17 March 2020

• Long term residents, those with a legal right to reside or hold long term visas (D-visa)
• Any passenger having an essential function or need (e.g. Diplomats and staff of international organizations, Military personnel)
• Healthcare professionals, health researchers and elderly care professionals
• Foreign experts and highly qualified personnel whose work is necessary and cannot be postponed or carried out abroad
• Transport personnel engaged in haulage of goods and other transport staff
• Seasonal workers in agriculture
• Merchant seamen who are going to sign up on board or leave Germany for the purpose of repatriation
• Foreign students whose studies cannot be continued from outside Germany
• US military personnel stationed in Germany and their family members
• British nationals and their family members returning via Germany to their country of residence
• Residents of Australia, Canada, Montenegro, New Zealand, Thailand and Uruguay
• Unmarried partners of German nationals

Quarantine Requirements :
• All arriving passengers departing from an area of non-variant concer ( crew members and children under 12 years old are exempted) are required to present a medical certificate indicating a negative result (NAAT, PCR, LAMP1 or TMA2) of COVID-19, with the sample collection time being 72 hours prior to arrival or an antigen rapid test result collected 48 hours prior to arrival. The test result can be presented in paper or electronic form and must be in German, English or French.
• Passengers who have been fully vaccinated with two doses and completed 14 days prior to entry are exempt from a negative PCR test report or antigen certificate, which must be in German, English, French, Italian or Spanish. **Notice: Vaccination plant license plates must be WHO approved . e.g.: AZ, Pfizer, Moderna , Johnson & Johnson.
• Passengers from risk areas (Taiwan is not included) are subject to quarantine. Frankfurt is located in Hessen State, for the relevant quarantine measures, please visit the official websites (English)
The list of risk areas (Germany/English)
• Passengers from areas of variant are restricted to enter. ( Persons which are resides or residents in Germany and transit passengers (non-Schengen – non-Schengen) are exempted.) . The areas will be updated anytime. List 
• All passengers who have been to any risk areas or high incident areas for more than 72 hours in the last 10 days, are required to complete the online form Digital Registration on entry.
• Restriction of mask category : Only the FFP2,KN95,N95,or surgical masks are allowed.


Transit restrictions :
1. To ensure compliance with intra-Schengen travel rules, passengers transiting through Germany to other EU countries or the Schengen area are required to hold valid travel documents or a visa to fulfill the German entry requirements.
2.Passengers transiting to other international destinations (outside of the EU or Schengen area) are permitted to transit however must stay in the international transit area of the airport and must have the valid travel documents required for the next destination.

United Kingdom
1. All passengers entering England from overseas (including UK nationals and residents) must provide the following documents before boarding :
(1) A proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 3 days of departure to England(children aged 10 and under are exempted).
(2) Fill in Passenger Locator Form up to 48 hours before arrival. Passengers must declare all countries they have visited or transited through in the 10 days prior to arrival on Passenger Locator Form. Notes: 
• The negative COVID-19 test certificate must include the following information: (1)the name/type of the test device (PCR,LAMP,Antigen test) (2)your name, which should match the name on your travel documents (3)your date of birth or age (4)the result of the test (5)the date the test sample was collected or received by the test provider (6)the name of the test provider and their contact details.   
• The test result must be in either English, French or Spanish. Translations will not be accepted. 
• Your test result can be provided as a physical, printed document, or via email or text message.
• If you arrive without a test result that includes this information, you will be committing a criminal offence and could receive a £500 fine.

2. Before departure, passenger need to check the list of ''red/amber/green countries'' and comply with the requirements of the list.
• Red list passengers
-You can only enter if you are a British or Irish National, or you have residence rights in the UK. You must enter through a designated port and quarantine in a government approved hotel for 10 days.
-Book a managed quarantine package.
• Amber list passengers

-Make plans to self-quarantine in private accommodation for 10 full days after arrival (or full duration of stay if less than 10 days).
-Passengers who have been fully vaccinated through an approved vaccination programme at least 14 days before arrival in England must book a test for day 2(https://www.gov.uk/find-travel-test-provider).
• Green list passengers
-Book a test for day 2(https://www.gov.uk/find-travel-test-provider).
-From 4 a.m. (local time) on July 19, 2021, Taiwan has been placed on the ''Green list countries''. Passengers from Taiwan are exempt from 10 days of quarantine.
Notes:
• Children aged 4 and under are exempted from the test after arrival.
• For transfer passengers, transiting in amber or red countries are still subject to immigration quarantine requirements.
3. These measures apply to all persons (including UK nationals and residents) arriving in England from outside the common travel area comprising the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the Channel Islands. The British Overseas Territories are not in the common travel area. Public health requirements may vary depending upon in which nation of the UK you are staying.
4. Failure to comply with these measures is a criminal offence and you could be fined. There are a limited set of exemptions from these measures. Check the list of exemptions carefully. You may be fined if you fraudulently claim an exemption.
