Reservation
- Members who redeem Qantas Classic Flight Rewards should contact China Airlines' reservation center to book the requested flight.
- Double bookings of reward ticket seats are not allowed. Qantas Airways reserves the right to cancel the reservation without prior notice.

Ticketing
- Confirmed booking is required before the issuance of a reward ticket. Any request for ticket issuance without prior booking is not accepted.
- After seats have been confirmed, members are required to have the reward ticket issued at China Airlines Call Center or Branch Offices 7 working days before departure. If the reservation is made within 7 working days before departure, members are required to have the award ticket issued 3 working days before departure.
- Any request for reward ticket issue or reissue is not accepted at the airport.
- Members are responsible for all taxes or other charges related to Qantas Airways reward tickets.
Ticket Validity Period
Each reward ticket is valid for one year from the date of issue.Ticket Change
- Reservation changes of reward tickets are acceptable.
- Once a reward ticket is partially used, ticket or itinerary changes are not allowed.
- For a wholly unused reward ticket, rerouting is acceptable (limited to the same redemption region) with a handling fee TWD1,500 or its equivalent amount in local currency will be charged for each ticket.
- When a reward ticket is reissued, the system will automatically return any valid mileage on the date of reissuance, recalculate and deduct the required miles based on the new itinerary. The validity of the reissued reward ticket will remain the same as original one.
- For reward tickets issued before the launch of the new loyalty system, if partially unused reward tickets are refunded, the mileage can not be returned. Only the taxes collected for unused flight segments will be refunded, and no handling fee will be charged.
- For reward tickets issued after the launch of the new loyalty system, a refund for fully unused or partially unused tickets will incur a handling fee of TWD1, 500 or the equivalent in local currency. Any mileage still valid on the refund date will be returned to the ticket holder’s account. If all mileage has expired as of the refund date, only the taxes for unused flight segments will be refunded, and no handling fee will be charged.
Notes
- One open-jaw and one stopover are allowed in the itinerary for Qantas Airways reward tickets.
- An open-jaw itinerary must be within the same redemption area.
- A stopover is a stop of over 24 hours at a place other than the destination and the turnaround point and must be in the same region as the point of origin or the destination.
- For a one-way reward ticket, no stopover is allowed.
- Stopovers and transit points also have to comply with direct route principle and must be in the same direction during the itinerary (either eastbound or westbound). This means stopovers and transit points must be the points on the valid route between the point of origin and the destination.
- Qantas Airways reward tickets may be used to travel from the original point of departure to the destination or to a turnaround point and then back to point of origin, but no beyond travel is permitted (No backtracking).
- Segments that via Pacific and Transatlantic simultaneously during the itinerary are not accepted.
- The seats for reward tickets are subject to the limited seat availability of Qantas Airways.
- Members should comply with the regulations and rules on use of Qantas Classic Flight Rewards.
