“Fly with You” MV Premiered for China Airlines A350

Published: May 15, 2016

To celebrate the first coming delivery of A350 this year, China Airlines has invited Kuo-Hsi Chang, a pilot with the Flight Operations Division and lead singer of the band “Tolaku”, nominated in the Best Band category of the 27th Golden Melody Awards, to write a fun theme song for the new A350. The tongue-in-cheek tone of “Fly with You” does not just inject new energy into China Airlines, it also makes the China Airlines A350 the first passenger jet to have its own theme song.

The China Airlines “Fly with You” MV was premiered on the China Airlines Youtube channel and Facebook fan group on May 15. In the MV, Chang appears in his real-life persona of airline pilot along with cute flight attendants. The playful melody and lyrics are intended to take everyone on a flight to the magic kingdom aboard China Airlines’ new A350. Chang said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to produce a new song for the new China Airlines aircraft. Being able to combine my hobby with my work made for an unusual experience.”

The MV for “Fly with You” was directed by Chun Lin, a renowned MV director in Taiwan. The song itself was inspired by Amsterdam, Rome and Vienna, the European destinations that the China Airlines A350 will soon provide direct flights for. The cast, including 46 China Airlines employees and their families, delivered a perfect performance. A special “Aircraft Dance” was also choreographed by “Rambo”, a choreographer to top singers. The easy-going music and simple moves will hopefully make more people aware of the China Airlines A350 so they can join in welcoming the new addition to the fleet as well. (2016/05/15)
