Within one year after a ticket is issued, you must start to use its first sector. Once a ticket is used, the calculation of its validity period begins from the date of the boarding of the 1st-sector flight. Taking into account the validity period of the original ticket, you can tell when it will expire. But ticket purchases should still be handled in according with the specific rules of the tickets.
Please contact China Airlines' local customer service center or ticket counters to determine whether the ticket is still valid and then reconnect it to a new booking record.
Handling charges are for reservation, ticket change and refund, and vary with fare categories. If the fare you booked has such restrictions (for example, if it disallows change/re-reservation), you need to pay the relevant handling charge.
Please contact China Airlines' local ticket counters to inquire about refund and handling charges.
