    China Airlines is committed to protecting passenger rights and, in accordance with Regulation No. 101 of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), provides the following service measures for international flights departing from Thailand to address flight disruptions and other inconveniences.

    Appropriate Support During Flight Disruptions

    In the event of flight disruptions, including delays, cancellations, or overbooking, we will provide suitable assistance as needed, such as meal services, communication facilities, accommodation, or re-routing on alternative flights, in accordance with the applicable regulations.

    Fair Compensation and Refund Protection

    Eligible passengers will receive compensation or refunds in accordance with CAAT regulations. This may include cash, vouchers, or mileage. Clear terms and conditions will be provided, and your consent will be obtained prior to issuance, in order to protect your rights within the legally mandated timeframe.

    However, compensation may not be granted in cases of extraordinary circumstances—such as unforeseen and unavoidable events that affect or are likely to affect the safe operation of the flight, and which could not have been prevented despite all reasonable measures. Nevertheless, passengers will still be entitled to appropriate care and assistance.

    Clear and Transparent Flight Information

    We proactively inform passengers of any changes to their flight status, including delays, cancellations, or overbooking, to ensure you stay updated and well-informed.

    Respect and Care for Every Passenger

    We value the needs of every passenger, and offer essential assistance to those with other special needs. If you require further help, please contact our customer service center or speak with our staff at the airport.
