Must be approved by international aviation authorities and comply with relevant national standards, such as FAA, EASA, ECE, or equivalent organizations, and bear a qualified certification label.
The CRS qualified for the use at all times on the aircraft must be equipped with internal restraint straps, a solid back and seat, and bear the approved labels.
Usage Policy
The accompanying adult must occupy a seat adjacent to the child restraint system (CRS).
The CRS must be secured to the seat with a seat belt throughout the entire flight.
Passenger Weight and Restraint Limitations:
Weighs less than 9 kg (20 lb): The CRS should be secured in an aft-facing direction.
Weighs 9-18 kg (20-40 lb): The CRS should be secured in a forward-facing direction.
More than 18 kg (40 lb): Not applicable for use a CRS.
Child Restraint System (CRS) / Child Safety Belt (CARES)
If a child safety seat or safety belt is needed, you may bring your own for use on board.
