China Airlines (CAL), a Taiwan-based airline, announces all flights to Yangon in Myanmar as well as Bangkok and Chiang Mai in Thailand are currently operating as normal. Safety is the top priority at CAL and will continue to monitor local conditions and cooperate with airport operations. Travelers are advised to check the latest updates before departure to stay safe.

 

In response to reports of major earthquake damage in parts of Myanmar and Thailand, CAL has launched emergency relief efforts to assist affected Taiwanese nationals and travelers.

 

CAL is now offering free transportation for disaster relief supplies from government, charities and aid organizations. CAL is leveraging its resources to deliver Taiwanese compassion to the disaster areas and support local communities in their recovery.
