Outside of the Americas and the U.S. and Canadian Territories

  1. Golfing Equipment
    • Golfing equipment consists of one golf bags containing no more than 14 clubs and 12 balls, and one pairs of golf shoes, weighing no more than a total of 15 kg.
    • The charges shall be equal to the applicable excess baggage rate for 6 excess kilograms if the above articles are not included in the normal free allowance.
    • If the above articles are included in the normal free allowance, any overweight resulting from such inclusion shall be assessed at the above special rate (for 6 excess kilograms) or the normal excess baggage charge, whichever is lower.
    • For any golfing equipment in excess of 15 kg, the normal excess baggage charge shall apply.

  2. Surfboarding/Windsurfing Equipment and Body-board
    2.1 Surfing board/windsurfing equipment and body-board can be included in the standard free checked baggage allowance. If total weight of baggage exceeds the allowance, charges listed in section 2.2 apply.
    2.2 Additional charges for surfing board/windsurfing equipment and body-board
    • A board not exceeding 109 inches (277 cm) shall be charged at the applicable excess baggage rate for 5 excess kilograms.
    • A board exceeding 109 inches (277 cm) shall be charged at the applicable excess baggage rate for 8 excess kilograms.
    • When the above articles are included in the free baggage allowance, any overweight resulting from such inclusion shall be assessed at the above special charge or the normal excess baggage charge, whichever is lower.
    • These special charges are limited to one board per passenger. Additional boards are charged at the applicable excess baggage charge.

  3. Water Skiing and Skating Equipment
    • (Water skiing and skating equipment consists of one pair of boots, one pair of ski poles, one skateboard...)
    • If the above articles exceed the free baggage allowance, the charge shall be equal to the applicable excess baggage rate for 3 excess kilograms.
    • If the above articles are included in the free baggage allowance, any excess weight resulting from such inclusion shall be assessed at the aforementioned special rate (for 3 excess kilograms) or the normal excess baggage charge, whichever is lower.

To/From the Americas and the U.S. and Canadian Territories

  1. Golfing Equipment
    • Golfing equipment consists of one golf bags and one pairs of golf shoes.
    • If the normal free allowance is exceeded, 50% of the applicable charge shall be charged per excess piece.

  2. Surfboarding/Windsurfing Equipment/Body-board equipment
    • Surfboard/windsurfing/Body-board equipment shall not be included in the checked baggage allowance.
    • A board not exceeding 109 inches (277 cm) is charged at 100% of the excess baggage charge.
    • A board exceeding 109 inches (277 cm) is charged at 150% of the excess baggage charge.
    • Additional board(s) will be charged at the same rate as the first board.
    • One board is calculated as one piece.

  3. Water Skiing and Skating Equipment
    • (Water skiing and skating equipment consists of one pair of boots, one pair of ski poles, one skateboard...)
    • If the water skiing and skating equipment exceeds the normal free allowance, it shall be charged at 33% of the applicable excess baggage charge per piece.
    • However, the special charge is limited to one set of the above articles per passenger. For any equipment exceeding this amount, the normal charge shall apply.
