China Airlines, a Taiwan-based carrier, has once again won industry recognition through a trio of global airline service awards including the 2026 Gold Award for Business Class Kit: Asia/Australasia and 2026 Gold Award for Premium Economy Kit from TravelPlus, and Best Onboard Breakfast Service from Onboard Hospitality. At China Airlines, the emphasis on a sophisticated dining experience has been combined with aesthetically pleasing and sustainable amenity designs to challenge traveler expectations on air travel and offer a more elegant way to enjoy China Airlines' unique approach to hospitality from the heart.
The award-winning amenity collection marks China Airlines’ first-ever collaboration with Marc Jacobs, created in partnership with Danish design house FRAMA. Inspired by the idea of Born for the Journey, the collection reimagines the traditional amenity kit through a fashion and lifestyle lens. Recognized by TravelPlus with two Gold Awards, the collection introduces distinct experiences across both cabin classes. The Premium Business kit draw inspiration from Marc Jacobs’ iconic accessory silhouettes, featuring elevated textures, understated neutrals and signature detailing designed to bring ease and sophistication to long-haul travel. The Premium Economy kit embrace bold colour pairings, combining vibrant tones with modern functionality in a playful yet elevated interpretation of travel accessories. Each design includes curated travel essentials alongside Marc Jacobs branded accessories and FRAMA skincare products, blending comfort, design and practicality within a contemporary inflight experience. The collection has now been rolled out across all Premium Business Class routes and is currently available in Premium Economy Class on routes including Prague, Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne, with full network deployment expected by the end of May.
Judging by the Onboard Hospitality magazine consisted of a readers' poll as well as input from a panel of airline consultants and food and beverage experts. The Western-style Vegetarian Lacto-Ovo Meal (VLML) breakfast developed by China with the Michelin Green Star and Bib Gourmand-recommended Little Tree Food has won widespread praise. The menu has now been updated for the new quarter to feature Spinach and Wild Mushroom Quiche with French Scrambled Eggs in Premium Business/Business Class, Roasted Potatoes and Sweet Potatoes with Cream of Corn in Premium Economy Class, and Salted Egg with Pumpkin and Cheese Conchiglie in Economy Class; the Brown Sugar Douhua Dairy-Free Ice Cream with its fusion of creativity and tradition will also be available for a limited time on selected routes. Travelers are encouraged to book these healthy feasts in the sky through China Airlines 24 hours before departure.
The traveler-centric approach at China Airlines has enjoyed repeated success at international reviews. The carrier was shortlisted for important awards at this year's World Travel Catering & Onboard Services EXPO (WTCE) in Hamburg, Germany.
