China Airlines has been presented with the 2020 APEX Five Star Global Airline award in a poll conducted jointly by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) and popular travel website TripIt, making it the third consecutive year that the airline has won the award.

 

A poll was conducted by APEX on the TripIt platform to rate airlines out of five stars on five categories including seat comfort, cabin service, food and beverage, entertainment and Wi-Fi. More than 1.4 million verified bookings from nearly 600 airlines were collected this year. The 5-star rating was achieved by only 21 airlines in the world with China Airlines among them. The strong reputation of China Airlines among international travelers has boosted the international profile of Taiwan once again.

 

China Airlines, the largest airline in Taiwan, has won a number of key domestic and overseas awards during 2019 including the International Trophy at the 129th Rose Parade in the U.S., and Travellers Choice Major Airline Asia from Tripadvisor. The China Airlines 2019 brand commercial for 2019 won gold awards at AD Stars in Pusan, South Korea, 4A Creative Awards in Taiwan, and Times Advertising Awards, as well as the London International Chinese Awards. The Terminal 1 Dynasty Lounge in Taoyuan was named the most beautiful airport lounge in the world by ELLE Decoration magazine in France, the A350 was given third place by Pilot Hacks for business class products on Australian routes, the Dynasty in-flight magazine was recognized at the APEX Awards for Publication Excellence, and China Airlines also received the Next Magazine Top Service Award.
