The Younger Generation's Top Choice! China Airlines Ahead on Corporate Branding and Amenities Kits

The good news continues to roll in for China Airlines. The Cheers magazine announced that China Airlines is a top 20 employer among the younger generation. The Premium Economy class product targeted at the young adult generation was also named "Best Onboard Amenities Kit - Premium Economy" at the Onboard Hospitality Awards by OBH Magazine. China Airlines has now gained widespread recognition for its brand influence and pursuit of continuous improvement in service quality.
 
The progressive introduction of new aircraft by China Airlines in recent years is part of an active effort to inject a whole new look and mindset into the aviation industry. The Cheers magazine's survey of top employers among the younger generation is now in its 13th year. This year, a postal survey was conducted of 4954 newcomers to the job market throughout Taiwan. The comprehensive benefits and quality working environment provided by China Airlines to employees has made it one of the top 10 employers among young people for three consecutive years.China Airlines' front-line cabin crew and maintenance divisions have the highest number of employees due to the need to support the current fleet. Together, they employ nearly 6000 people and average turnover is just 2%, highlighting how China Airlines is fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by doing all it can for employees, setting the benchmark for a happy enterprise.
 
To reach out to younger passengers, the amenities kits aboard China Airlines aircraft adopted a passenger-centric design philosophy that combines environmental protection with cultural creativity. The natural palettes of the outer shell under the cabin lights create a high-tech feel and makes the overall design seem like a boutique product. This year, the design beat out other major carriers around the world to be named "Best Onboard Amenities Kit - Premium Economy." The Onboard Hospitality Awards is hosted by OBH Magazine and the professional judges include airline executives, executive chefs of airline caterers, magazine editors and suppliers of onboard supplies. Judging was based on a wide variety of criteria including innovation, first impressions, quality, durability, product life, weight, performance, design, functionality, taste, content and user experience. The award was therefore well-deserved.
 
China Airlines has received numerous domestic and international accolades for its performance in many areas including the International Trophy at the 128th Rose Parade, consecutive Best Airline in North Asia awards from the U.S. Global Traveler magazine, 2017 Global Views Five-Star Service Award, "Gold Trusted Brand" of Reader's Digest Asia for 19 consecutive years, 2017 Air Cargo Excellence Award from the Air Cargo World magazine, the 2017 TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Award, and the APEX Award for Publication Excellence for the Dynasty in-flight magazine.
