Notes

  1. One open-jaw and one stopover are allowed in the itinerary for Qantas Airways award tickets.
    • An open-jaw itinerary must be within the same redemption area.
    • A stopover is a stop of over 24 hours at a place other than the destination and the turnaround point and must be in the same region as the point of origin or the destination.
    • For a one-way award ticket, no stopover is allowed.
  2. Stopovers and transit points also have to comply with direct route principle and must be in the same direction during the itinerary (either eastbound or westbound). This means stopovers and transit points must be the points on the valid route between the point of origin and the destination.
  3. Qantas Airways award tickets may be used to travel from the original point of departure to the destination or to a turnaround point and then back to point of origin, but no beyond travel is permitted (No backtracking).
  4. Segments that via Pacific and Transatlantic simultaneously during the itinerary are not accepted.
  5. The seats for award tickets are subject to the limited seat availability of Qantas Airways.
  6. Members should comply with the regulations and rules on use of Qantas Classic Flight Rewards.
