- Eligibility
Passengers who are holding CI/AE valid tickets issued on/before 02SEP23 with confirmed bookings on CI/AE affected flights and must file applications on/before 03DEC23. - Rebooking/Reissue/Reroute
(a)Rebooking to other CI/AE operated flights with the same Booking Class/Carrier/Ticketed point including airport shown on the ticket within ticket validity and new flight date within 14 days prior to/after the affected flight shall be revalidated or reissued once free of charge.
(b)Any Fare/Tax difference incurred by rebooking with different Booking Class/Carrier or Routing shall be paid by passengers but reissue charge can be waived once.
(c)For tickets issued via CI website, please contact call center or branch offices. Other tickets please contact original issuing offices for rebooking and reissue. - Refund

To ensure passenger satisfaction and provide valuable service, traveling starting from 01SEP 2023, baggage rules/rates of CI/AE international sectors will be adjusted simultaneously on multiple fronts as listed below- 21 Aug, 20231. Across-the-board reduction on the excess baggage rates (Consequently, corresponding Dynasty Flyer mileage for excess baggage rate at the airport will be reduced).
2. Further discounts are provided for prepaid excess baggage.
3. The deadline to purchase prepaid excess baggage will be shortened to 4 hours before the flight departure time.
4. Reduction on excess baggage rates for oversized baggage.
5. Adjustment on the charge of pet transportation
6. Certain sports equipment, including Surfboards/Windsurfing equipment/Bodyboards and Canoe/Kayak are exempted from the limits on the sum of length/width/height of free baggage allowance.
7. In addition to the free checked baggage allowance, either a collapsible stroller or a car seat, but not both, can be checked in free of charge. -

Application CI/AE Flight cancellation or irregularity Eligibility Passengers holding CI/AE valid tickets (Change regulations are applicable to Dynasty Flyer Program Award Ticket). Application Date Must file applications on/before 31OCT23. Change a. Within ticket validity, the fare/tax/booking service charge differences and reissue charge, including over-counter charge, shall be waived once provided that booking class/Carrier/Routing (City) remains unchanged. Flights operated by CI/AE shall not be rebooked to codeshare flights or other airlines flights. Ticket issued on CI website please contact the branch office or Call Center to change the booking. b. Within ticket validity, if the above item is not applicable, the difference of fare/tax caused by the change of the booking class/itinerary should be paid by the passenger. The booking service charge difference and reissue charge, including the over-counter charge, shall be waived once. Refund a. For totally unused tickets: Full refund can be performed without imposing any refund charge/penalty. b. For partially used tickets: Refund charge can be waived. c. Chargeable seats and Prepaid excess baggage can be fully refunded. d. Original tickets issued via the CI website, call centers, and the branch offices can apply for a refund via CI Website. No Show Fee No show fee shall be waived provided that passengers are denied boarding their flights at airports due to suspected infection of pneumonia or respiratory syndrome.
