Effective from 15 JUN 2018, Taoyuan airport Check-in counters closing at 60 mins before schedule time of departure. 15 May, 2018
From 15 June 2018 onwards, in order to allow sufficient time for all formalities at airport, passenger check-in counter will be closed 60 minutes prior to the schedule time of departure for all CI/AE operating flights (excluding CI/AE code-share flights operated by other code-share partner carriers) and IT129/CI8609 departing from Taoyuan international airport.

Pursuant to Memorandum circular No. 06, Series of 2017Implementing Guidelines on the Integration of the Passenger Service (PSC) Honoring Exemption at the Point of Sale of Airline Ticket.Effective April 30, 2018, China Airlines Refund Procedure for Balik Manggagawa (BM) workers who paid the terminal fee (LI International) for ticket issued after April 30, 2017 are as follows:
Please be guided accordingly.
- Proceed to China Airlines Check in counter.
- Submit the Exemption Certificate (Airport Copy)
- For OFWs – Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) or any of the following: photocopy of work visa, work permit, valid employment contract, valid company ID, and recent payroll slip.
- For Pilgrims, Athletes & Others – MIAA Exemption Certificate (MEC)
- If eligible for LI refund, CI check in agent will provide boarding pass with stamp “REFUND” and printed e-ticket.
- Proceed immediately to immigration and boarding gate.
- Cash refund will be process at boarding gate with cut-off period as follows:
CI712 8:30AM - 9:30AM
CI702 9:00AM -10:00AM
CI704 2:00PM - 4:00PM
- Passenger should sign upon receipt of refund.
- For all flown tickets with unclaimed LI tax refund, you may claim it at below address with a) boarding pass b) printed copy of e-ticket c) proof of exemption (see item No. 2)

Starting from January 18, 2018, Korean Air(KE) will operate in Terminal 2 of Incheon Airport(ICN).
If you are departing from Incheon Airport with CI marketing/KE operating codeshare flight CI9065(KE691), CI9067(KE693), please use the Korean Air check-in counter at Terminal 2.
All CI/AE operating flights remain depart from Terminal 1.

Starting 1st January 2018, there will be no announcements for "Final Call" and "Name Paging", inclusive of foreign language announcements for 'Name Paging" at Changi Airport(SIN). Under exceptional cases where flights were disrupted due to operational reasons such as re-time or delayed, the announcement can still be made. All other announcements such as change of boarding gates and those of emergencies remain unchanged. Thank you.
