China Airlines (CAL) Enables Apple’s Find My Share Item Location Feature to Enhance Baggage Recovery
게시: 2025년 04월 15일Today (15) China Airlines (CAL), a Taiwan-based airline, announced that customers traveling with CAL can use Apple’s new Share Item Location feature to privately and securely share the location of their AirTag or Find My network accessory with the airline’s customer service to more quickly locate lost or delayed bags and reunite them with customers, providing travelers with greater convenience and peace of mind when flying.
CAL has long invested in digital innovation and the optimization of traveler services. Now, the integration of Share Item Location enables travelers to share the location of their AirTag or Find My network accessory with CAL’ customer service to speed up the recovery of lost or delayed baggage.
In order to share the location of their AirTag or Find My network accessory with the airline, customers can generate a Share Item Location link in the Find My app on their iPhone, iPad, or Mac. The link can be shared with CAL via a lost baggage form or with an agent at the service counter. CAL integrate this information into existing systems to digitally support baggage tracking. Travelers will be able to enjoy the convenience offered by a new era in digital travel and relax knowing everything is going smoothly. For customers’ privacy and security, location sharing will automatically end as soon as a customer is reunited with their bag, can be stopped by the customer at any time, and will automatically expire after seven days.
User experience and feedback are important to CAL. Digital services underwent a comprehensive overhaul and new services such as the CAL App, Dynasty Sky Reading, Online Check-in, Auto Check-in, and iFoundU were added. Cutting-edge digital technologies are now being harnessed to develop even smarter and more structured services. CAL puts itself in the user’s shoes, seeking to add services that not only eliminate travel stress but create a more enjoyable experience. (2025/04/15)
