Prepaid excess baggage

If your flight is changed by China Airlines, your prepaid baggage allowance will be accommodated to your alternate flight without any change.
Currently, mileage cannot be exchanged.
The pre-paid excess baggage is available for passengers holding China Airlines (297)and Mandarin Airlines(803) tickets (excluding infant), excluding codeshare flights by partner airlines or other airlines on your itinerary.
If you use mileage for upgrade cabin class, please contact our service counter within office hour for purchasing.
If you haven't used your tickets and want a refund on your excess baggage, please visit a CI branch office for your ticket refund within 2 years of the date of purchase. 30% of your prepaid fee will be charged as an administrative fee.
Mileage cannot be accumulated or credited.
If there is a need for you to change to another flight, please contact China Airlines Customer Service during office hours or visit a CI branch office to make a change before your original flight departure.
Once the allowance is used, if the actual weight of the baggage upon check-in is less than the prepaid baggage allowance paid for, the unused portion is non-refundable and non-transferable.
