Nominee Registration

  1. Members may transfer awards to their relatives and friends. To protect membership privileges, members should fill out a "Dynasty Flyer Award Transfer Application Form" in advance and submit it along with a photocopy of passport with signature (The signature should be identical with member’s signature) to a local Member Service Hotline of China Airlines through fax, e-mail or post for processing. 
  2. Members who apply to use online award transfer can sign into Dynasty Flyer Services on China Airlines' website to register nominees. 
  3. Each member may register up to six nominees at one time or separately. Each registered nominee may be replaced once in each calendar year. All nominees must be members. The mileage transferred for an award cannot be combined with mileage of other account(s). 
  4. When registering nominees, members may fill out the "Dynasty Flyer Award Transfer Application Form" as required. It is not necessary to nominate all six persons at one time. First time registration may take 3 working days to process after it arrives a China Airlines service office. 
  5. From the second year of registration, all registered nominees of the prior year will be automatically incorporated to the list of the current year and can be changed one time within the same calendar year. In order to safeguard members' privileges, members who apply to change their previously registered nominee have to wait 30 days before applying award transfer. 
  6. The transfer registration of a member under 12 years old must be co-signed by a legal guardian.

Members should first decide the award to transfer and have sufficient mileage in their accounts, and then fill out the "Dynasty Flyer Award Transfer Application Form" and submit it along with a photocopy of their passport with signature to a local Member Service Hotline of China Airlines through fax, e-mail or post for processing. The award transfer application takes three working days to process.

When an award transfer application is manually processed, a handling charge of 3,000 mileage will be deducted from the account of the member requesting the transfer for every transaction.

  • After verification, China Airlines will give the member an "Award Number" for each transfer. The nominee(s) then can use this "Award Number" to redeem an upgrade award or a ticket award. 
  • Please refer to redeem miles for redemption description.
  • For completing the award transfer procedure, the "Award Number" is valid for one year and must be used by the nominee within the validity period. Requests for extensions or mileage refunds for an expired transferred award will not be accepted. 
  • Nominees shall not re-transfer the award to a third person or request to combine it with their mileage.
Transfer Cancellation

Transfer Cancellation

  • Members must have the consent of the endowed nominee to cancel a transferred award and return the transferred mileage to the original nominator or change the award to be transferred. 
  • The cancellation must be completed within the one-year validity period of the award. Both parties (the nominator and the nominee) must prepare and sign the "Dynasty Flyer Award Transfer Application Form" and submit the cancellation request to a local China Airlines service counter along with a photocopy of both parties' passports or ID cards. 
  • Before transfer cancellation, the status of the transferred award must be “unused”. Once the cancellation process is complete, the mileage is returned to the nominator as long as that is still valid on the day of cancellation. 
  • If a nominee requests to change the transferred award, the award must be first canceled and then re-transferred by the nominator. When an award transfer cancellation is manually processed, a handling charge of 3,000 mileage will be deducted from the account of the member requesting the cancellation for every transaction.

  • We now launch the online award transfer function to provide more convenient services to members! Members may register nominees, change the nominee, transfer award and cancel award online without 3,000 mileage handling charge. 
  • To safeguard members' interests and rights, this service is only available for members who have applied for the online award transfer service. For eligible members, please download and fill in an "Dynasty Flyer Award Transfer Online Service Activation Application Form" and submit it along with a photocopy of their identity certification document to a local Member Service Hotline of China Airlines through fax, e-mail or post for processing. The online application takes three working days to process. Please make sure the documents submitted are complete, otherwise the application cannot be accepted.
