China Airlines Adds Dedicated "Novel Coronavirus Service Information" Section to Website for Consolidated Flights and Ticketing Inquiries

A dedicated "Novel Coronavirus Service Information" section has been added to the China Airlines website in response to the novel coronavirus outbreak. The page, available in Chinese, English and Japanese versions, provides travelers with the latest updates on flight cancellation, ticketing, travel alert.
 
Services provided by such section include "Flight Status", "Flight Cancellation", "Ticket Handling Guidelines", "Flight messaging", "Immigration Information", "Ticket Refund", "Flight Delay/Cancellation Certificate", "Branch Office", and "Pre-Paid Baggage and Chargeable Seat Refund." Travelers are encouraged to use the online services to save time on phone calls and over-the-counter processing.
 
Travelers that purchases their tickets through the China Airlines website can raise a request for ticket refund online. If a ticket was purchased through a travel agent then please contact the original travel agent. China Airlines has produced an FAQ to help answer the most common traveler questions.
 
Flight schedules are subject to frequent changes due to the outbreak. Travelers are suggested to use the China Airlines website or download the mobile app to check the latest updates. They can also register for the "Flight Messaging" function to receive SMS reminders of the latest flight changes.
