Change Bookings

In the event you do not show up for scheduled flight without advising us in advance, we may cancel your return/onward reservation.
If no show is causing by something unexpectedly (or being arranged to new flight by other airlines), please contact us to reconfirm your return/onward reservation or reissue ticket within 24 hours, otherwise return/onward reservation will be canceled.
After ticket issuance is completed, relevant changes, if any, should be handled in accordance with the fare rules.
If there is an error in the name on the ticket that does not involve a change of passenger, it can be handled according to the following rules.
The following rules are in effect starting March 24, 2025 (based on the ticketing/reissuance date) and apply only to passengers holding China Airlines (297) or Mandarin Airlines (803) tickets (including award tickets) and traveling on China Airlines or Mandarin Airlines-operated international flights. | |

Booking and ticket handling:
- The above rules and handling can only be applied once. A new booking must be made with a new ticket purchased, and the original ticket must be refunded with a refund fee charged for passengers who do not meet the requirements or for a change of passenger.
- If your itinerary includes flights operated by other airlines or codeshare flights, a new booking must be made and will be subject to flight availability.
- A Ticket Name Change Fee of TWD 600 or USD 20 (or equivalent currency) will be charged for eligible cases.
- If your ticket was purchased through a travel agency, please contact the travel agency for assistance.
- If your ticket is purchased from China Airlines offices (including the China Airlines website, branch offices, and airport counters) and meets the above conditions, the ticket name change fee can be waived once for changes made at a China Airlines branch office or airport counter.
- If your ticket is purchased from a travel agency, both the Ticket Name Change Fee and a Reissue Service Charge of TWD 2,000 or USD 60 (or equivalent currency) will be charged for changes made at a China Airlines branch office or airport counter. However, Paragon and Emerald members are exempt from the Reissue Service Charge.
