Yes, but only after you have checked in successfully.
Currently, special services such as meal selection or wheelchair requests are not available for Online Check-in. Should you require these services, please contact our booking department before completing Online Check-in.
If you have completed Online Check-in already, please request the service(s) you require at the airport check-in counter.
For wheelchair service requests, please contact customer service personnel at least 48 hours before flight departure. If you have completed Online Check-in already, please request this service at the airport check-in counter.
The seat selected at the time of booking will be reserved for you until 60 minutes before flight departure. If you are departing from Taoyuan Airport, your selected seat will reserved for you until 80 minutes before scheduled flight departure.
To protect the safety of passengers, crew, and airplanes, the following articles are strictly prohibited in passengers' carry-on baggage or checked baggage:
Explosive, gun weapons, fireworks and flares
Strongboxes that contain lithium batteries or fireworks products
Compressed gas (flammable, nonflammable or poisonous), such as butane, propane, aqualung cylinders, lighter fuel or supplements
Oxide, such as bleaching powder and peroxide
Flammable liquid, such as oil paint and adhesive
Combustible solid, such as safety match and combustible articles
Action-inhibiting devices, such as mace, pepper spray, or other devices that contain irritative substance
Toxic drugs, such as arsenic, cyanide or insecticide
Radioactive substance
Corrosive substance, such as quicksilver (possibly contained in a thermometer or sphygmomanometer), acid, alkali and wet cells
Any other material that may cause in-flight danger, such as magnetized, aggressive or irritative substance
You must tell the membership card number during reservation.
From now on, Online Check-in is open to all China Airlines passengers for reservation confirmation. Members can use their DFP membership card number or input the booking information to access the system.
You need to have the follow items ready: your E-ticket, a valid passport (valid for at least 6 more months is recommended), and any other documents required by the country/region you will be entering.
Currently, a maximum of 9 passengers in the same booking record who take international flights of China Airlines (excluding code-shared flights that are not operated by China Airlines) can complete Online Check-in simultaneously.
Yes. In any case if your itinerary changed after Online Check-in is performed, it must be cancelled.
Passengers may check in online for all international China Airlines / Mandarin Airlines flights, but due to system restrictions, this option is not available at the following locations: Nanchang Changbei International Airport (KHN), Ningbo Lishe International Airport (NGB), Wuxi Sunan Shuofang Airport (WUX), Xuzhou Guanyin International Airport (XUZ).
Passengers can check in online between 48 hours to 60 minutes before your scheduled departure time. Flights to the United States (including Guam) are subject to local government regulations, and the check-in time is between 24 hours to 60 minutes before departure.
Yes, you can complete Online Check-in for a companion who is in the same booking record as you.
Yes, but as this involves the opening hours of other airlines, check-in for onward flights may not always succeed. If it fails, you can ask for help at the airport check-in counter.
Airport check-in is usually available 2 - 3 hours before scheduled flight departure.
If you can't print the boarding pass on the Online Check-in website on your own, you need to go to the airport counter to get your boarding pass, arrange baggage consignment, hand in the ticket, and have your destination travel documents checked.
