Handling Guideline for Cancellation, Schedule Change of CI/AE operated flights affected by Typhoon HAGIBIS 12 Oct, 2019
- Eligibility
Passengers who are holding CI/AE valid tickets with confirmed bookings on CI/AE to/from Japan/Korea must file applications on/before 28OCT19.
- Rebooking/Reissue/Reroute
(a)Rebooking/Reissue/Route to other CI/AE operated flights with the same Fare Basis/Carrier/Ticketed point including airport shown on ticket and within ticket validity shall be revalidated or reissued once without service charge.
(b)Any Fare/Tax difference incurred by this change shall be paid by passengers.
(c)For tickets issued via CI website from 02Oct19, passengers can change booking online. Other tickets please contact original issuing offices for rebooking and reissue. (d)No show fee shall be waived only once.
- Refund Refund service charge will be waived and payment of chargeable seats can be full refund. Tickets issued via CI website can be refunded online. Other tickets please contact the original issuing offices.
- All applications must file on/before 28Oct19.
- Group and discount tickets are not applicable to the guidelines above.
- Other airlines tickets with confirmed booking on CI/AE operated flights must follow the guidelines of ticket issuing airlines.

Due to railway station construction in Frankfurt International Airport, the rail timetable will be changed from 26OCT to 14DEC2019. Please check your schedule on DB website before the trip.

Due to the short transit inconvenience to HongKong international airport, please be advised of the following tickets handling procedure.
- Applicable
(A)Passengers holding CI/AE valid tickets with confirmed bookings with flights to/from/via Hong Kong affected on 01Sep19 to 02Sep19.
(b)Application must be filed on/before 16SEP19 and travel must be completed on/before 30SEP19. - Not Applicable
Passengers holding other airlines' tickets with CI sectors shall comply with other airlines' ticket rule. - Rebooking/Reissue
Rebooking/Reissue service charge shall be waived only once.
(a)Rebooking to other CI/AE operated flights with the same booking class, fare condition, Airport and within validity shall be revalidated only once. In case of reissue, passengers shall pay Fare/Tax difference, if any, incurred in this change.
(b)Reroute to other flights shall be accepted and passengers shall pay Fare/Tax difference, if any, incurred in this change.
(c)Please contact our branch office to avoid Reissue/Rebook service charge. - Refund

- Special Involuntary Reroute for those passengers whose destination of connecting flight is in Germany:Involuntary reroute to passengers’ final destination by using Deutsche Bahn(DB) will be accepted without any charge.
- Refund
- Full refund for unused tickets without imposing any refund service charge/penalty.
- Refund for partially used tickets, all refund service charge or penalty can be waived.
