China Airlines Launches Mobile Counter Airport Service in Taiwan

December 04, 2007, Taipei, Taiwan-China Airlines has launched a new Mobile Counter airport service in Taiwan, which allows passengers to save time when they line up for check-in.

China Airlines, the leading carrier in Taiwan, is the first and only airline to use Mobile Counter in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan. The new service allows China Airlines ground staff to move the Mobile Counter around the airport and provide check-in services such as issuing boarding passes and baggage tags, wherever the passengers may be.

In order to provide efficient and effective service, China Airlines has previously unveiled on-line check-in, the self-serve airport check-in Kiosk, and other advanced E services. Now, with the launch of the Mobile Counter service, China Airlines has added yet another passenger-friendly feature that represents its determination to put passengers first and pursue continuing modernization.

These advances, along with other service innovations, have earned strong accolades from Skytrax Research, which has recognized CAL's excellent overall service performance. In the category of Aggregate Economy Class Service Quality, China Airlines was ranked Second Best among 66 of the world's most famous airlines. In several aspects of Economy Class Service Quality, China Airlines was ranked first worldwide, including Airport Services, Consistency of Ground Staff Check-in Service, and other categories.
