China Airlines donate to World Vision Taiwan
Through duty free shopping

March 05, 2007, Taipei, Taiwan ¡V Today China Airlines and the well-known international charity organization, World Vision Taiwan (W.V.T) joint to announce a donation project since the 1st of March this year. This donation project is aimed to help the poor children worldwide through China Airlines¡¦ duty free shopping for one-year term from March 1, 2007 to February 29, 2008. Both China Airlines and its duty free vendors will each donate 10 NTD out of each purchased duty free items.

The one-year donation amount will depend on the purchased quantity, and will be collected to W.V.T for its continuous effort and dedication to help the poor, both regionally and overseas, establish schools, medical care and etc. This donation project is one of the charity program co-worked recently by CAL and W.V.T.

Prior to the donation project, a four-day ¡§Flying Camp¡¨ was launched on Feb. 3 to provide 38 Taiwanese teenagers an educational and fun experience as how to be a professional captain and flight attendant. Also, visits to Taoyuan Aviation Science Museum, China Airlines Museum, Simulator, Sky Kitchen, Aircraft Maintenance, and Cabin Attendant Training Center were also arranged. Philip Wei, Chairman of China Airlines also attended to give the children an encouraging speech and a red envelope.

In the following months China Airlines will fly W.V.T internationally and domestically to care the poor.
