Delta will start placing its code on China Airlines flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu and New York (JFK) to Taipei on May 1. Same codeshare service will be placed on the soon-to-be launched Seattle-Taipei route on June 22.

China Airlines began the codeshare cooperation on Delta flights one year earlier in June 2003, from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Atlanta, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Salt Lake City and Cincinnati, and the sectors on Honolulu-Los Angeles and Honolulu-San Francisco.

With the launch of two-way codeshare cooperation, passengers travelling from the US to Asia or from Taiwan to the US can enjoy excellent in-flight service, efficient connections, and fast ground service. They can also accumulate mileage for their entire journeys, and access the VIP lounges of both airlines.
