5. | China Airlines to Launch Taipei-Takamatsu in March |
| |
Beginning on March 21, 2013, China Airlines will inaugurate Taipei-Takamatsu route with two flights a week. Members may enjoy mileage accrual and redemption benefits on newly launched flights. |

6. | China Airlines Completes Retrofit of its B747-400 Fleet |
| |
China Airlines (CAL) brought nine retrofitted Boeing 747-400 aircraft upgraded with all-new cabins back into service at the end of October! To provide passengers with a more spacious and comfortable journey, CAL has retrofitted all cabin facilities including all-new ergonomic seats, and an advanced video system in all classes. Six of the aircraft feature two-class cabins with business and economy classes, while the remaining three are configured with the additional of a first class cabin, making CAL the only Taiwanese airline to offer first class amenities and services. Combined with expertly developed in-flight meals and services, flying on CAL will no longer be mere flying but will be a customized, relaxing entertainment experience in the skies. >> more |

7. | Higher Credit Card Limit for Gold Members with Inflight Duty-free Items |

Starting from September 16, 2012, Gold members may enjoy a higher credit card limit up to USD500 when purchasing inflight duty-free items on board, while Paragon and Emerald members a credit card limit up to USD2,000. |

8. | Relocation to Terminal 1 in Vienna Airport (VIE) |

9. | Buy Miles for Immediate Cabin Upgrade |

10. | Redeem Mileage towards Excess Baggage Fees |

Members travelling on China Airlineˇ¦ self-operated flights can redeem mileage as payment towards excess baggage fees. Fees are calculated based on weight or pieces of luggage in increments of 1 kg (by weight system) or 1 piece (by piece system). 11. | Mileage Accumulated from 2010 to be Valid for 36 Months |

Weˇ¦d like to remind you that the mileage you accumulated in 2010 will be bearing a 36-month validity and be expired by Monthly Basis since 2013. For example, the mileage received in January 2010 will be valid until January 31, 2013 (Taipei Time). Due to a system upgrade is conducting during this period, the mileage for January through March in 2010 will receive extra validity until March 31, 2013 (Taipei Time). Please refer to China Airlines website at '' Dynasty Flyer Services '' page or contact the Service Hotline for your mileage details. We suggest you well plan your redemption in advance in order to enjoy your mileage in time. |

12. | Qualification Updates for Membership Advancement/Renewal |

Starting from October 1, 2012, China Airlines will extend the current promotion on reduced qualification requirements for membership advancement/renewal. The promotion was initiated earlier to celebrate China Airlines' joining in the SkyTeam alliance. With the extended qualification requirements, members will reach the Paragon/Emerald/Gold membership tiers faster when flying with China Airlines. >> more |
