7. | China Airlines to Launch Check-in Service Outside Shanghai International Airports |

Starting from August 20, 2012, China Airlines launched check-in service at Kunshan Terminal in Jiangsu Province, China, becoming the first Taiwanese airline to offer in-town check-in service on cross-strait flights. China Airlines passengers travelling from Kunshan to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport or Shanghai Pudong International Airport can complete check-in procedures at China Airlines・ check-in counter at Kunshan Terminal. After checking in their baggage and getting their boarding passes, passengers can travel baggage-free by bus or car to Shanghai Hongqiao or Pudong International Airport. Upon arrival, they can easily pass through customs and immigration. >> more |

8. | China Airlines to Offer Daily Flights to Auckland |

Effective from October 28, 2012, China Airlines will extend its Taipei-Sydney roundtrip service to Auckland based on its optimism over New Zealand・s tourism market and ties between Taiwan, New Zealand, and Australia. China Airlines will add four weekly flights to Auckland to its Taipei-Sydney route (CI051/CI052). Combined with the existing three weekly Taipei-Brisbane-Auckland flights (CI053/CI054), China Airlines will offer daily flights between Taipei and Auckland, giving customers more options and convenience. >> more |

9. | New China Airlines' Customer Service Line in Taiwan |

Effective from July 1, 2012, Customer Service telephone numbers in Taiwan have been consolidated to 412-9000 (cell phone dialing: 02-412-9000). Passengers calling from overseas, please dial 886-2-412-9000. The service for all passengers is available every day during 08:00~20:00 (Taipei time), while service for Dynasty Flyers is available from Monday to Friday 08:30~12:30 and 13:30~17:30 (Taipei time). >> more |

10. | Buy Miles for Immediate Cabin Upgrade |

Members who take China Airlines or Mandarin Airlines international flights departing from Taoyuan, Taipei Songshan, and Kaohsiung international airports and have a shortfall of up to 5,000 miles in order to redeem cabin upgrades can purchase those miles at airport counters for immediate cabin upgrades. >> more |

11. | Redeem Mileage Towards Excess Baggage Fees |

Members travelling on China Airline・ self-operated flights can redeem mileage as payment towards excess baggage fees. 12. | Qualification Updates for Membership Advancement/Renewal |

Starting from October 1, 2012, China Airlines will extend the current promotion on reduced qualification requirements for membership advancement/renewal. The promotion was initiated earlier to celebrate China Airlines' joining in the SkyTeam alliance. Effective from August 1, 2012, members may receive mileage accrual according to the ticket class when traveling on Taipei-Amsterdam Route with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
