Members can earn miles by flying scheduled international flights on Mandarin Airlines(AE) and Cross-Strait schedule flights (excluding co-shared flights and other charter flights) and domestic Taipei-Kaohsiung flights, granted they are using an eligible ticket. Mileage calculation (actual mileage and bonus mileage) is the same as that for China Airlines. Flight mileage earned or the number of international trips accrued on Mandarin Airlines may be combined with mileage or trip count earned on China Airlines for membership advancement.
※ Mileage correction for Mandarin Airlines' domestic Taipei-Kaohsiung flights is only available at the following locations: Mandarin Airlines service counters at the Taipei Domestic Airport, Kaohsiung Domestic Airport, and its downtown ticketing counters in Taipei and Kaohsiung. |

- The mileage levels of class upgrade and free ticket awards on applicable Mandarin Airlines' international flights shall be referred to China Airlines awards and rules.
- Members may issue international free award tickets to include scheduled flights operated by CI and AE within one award. However, AE's domestic award ticket is not allowed to combine with CI’s or AE's international flights, and should be redeemed separately.
- Free award tickets on Mandarin Airlines' domestic route can be issued on Mandarin Airlines service counters at the Taipei and Taichung Domestic Airports or its downtown ticketing counters in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung. Free award tickets on Mandarin Airlines international routes can be issued at its downtown ticketing counters in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung as well as at China Airlines downtown ticketing counters.
- In case of free ticket award re-issuance or refund as well as related handling, all China Airlines procedures apply (including surcharges and mileage deductions)..
Benefits of Gold, Emerald and Paragon Members
Gold, Emerald and Paragon Members are entitled to the following benefits when flying scheduled international as well as Cross-Strait chartered flights on Mandarin Airlines (excluding co-shared flights and other charter flights) and domestic Taipei-Kaohsiung flights:
Priority Reservation
Placement on the priority reservation waiting list if a chosen flight is full when making reservations.
Extra Baggage Allowance
Same rules as China Airlines' apply.
* Only available on Mandarin Airlines flights.
Airport Lounge Access
- Access to China Airlines airport lounge when departing from the Taoyuan International Airport, Hong Kong, Taichung and Kaohsiung International Airport as well as Mainland China with same privileges as on China Airlines flights.
- Access to Mandarin Airlines airport lounges at the Taipei Domestic Airport when flying on Mandarin Airlines domestic Taipei-Kaohsiung flights.
- Emerald Members and Paragon Members may also invite one guest to the airport VIP lounge.
Priority Baggage Handling
Gold, Emerald, and Paragon members traveling on Economy Class can enjoy priority baggage handling as accorded to Mandarin Airlines Business passengers.
Reservation Hotline
Emerald Members and Paragon Members have access to a reservation hotline in Taiwan.
Emerald, Paragon Members Confirmed Seat
Emerald and Paragon Members (excluding companions) are assured a seat when a booking is made at least 72 hours before departure. If the requested flight or cabin class is unavailable, Mandarin Airlines will arrange a seat on a flight before or after the requested flight or in another class on the requested flight.
Discount for Domestic Tickets Purchase
DFP Gold, Emerald and Paragon members may enjoy 10% discount off published fare for domestic tickets at designated ticket counters, other members are entitled to 5% discount.
※ DFP members may issue AE's domestic discounted ticket on AE's service counters at Taipei, Taichung Domestic Airports or its downtown ticketing counters in Taipei, Taichung and Kaohsiung. |
