- To ensure that your flight mileage is credited accurately
and timely, please give our service personnel both your
membership card number and your name (as it appears on
your card), when you are making a reservation yourself
or through a travel agent. When checking in at the airport,
presenting your membership card will ensure that your
mileage is automatically credited to your account.
- Please retain your passenger coupon and boarding pass
for six months so that in case you have any questions
about your earned mileage, we can help you resolve it
efficiently.
- Flight mileage is not credited for tickets sold at discounts of 50% or more, nor is it credited for free, infant, barter, charter, excess baggage, or airline and travel industry discount tickets.
- Only flight mileage on scheduled flights on China Airlines
and Mandarin Airlines can be counted toward Gold, Emerald
or Paragon membership qualifications. Partnership mileage
can be combined with other DFP miles in a member's account
for award redemption, but cannot be counted toward DFP
membership upgrade.
- When the ticket class and boarding class are different,
the flight mileage is calculated based on the lower of
the two.
- Flight mileage refers to mileage earned through taking
applicable China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines (AE) flights.
- Mileage must be redeemed within six calendar years
and used in accordance with this program's guidelines.
Further, a membership will become terminated if no mileage
is earned within 3 consecutive years. Mileage under that
card number will be canceled subsequently.
- Flight mileage can only be accumulated one time per
flight, regardless of the number of seats purchased.
- Mileage credits may be earned with different booking
codes :
Effective from 01 Jun 2006(based on travel date), mileage
will be credited according to the percentage of Actual
Mileage :

Flights between Taiwan and Hong
Kong will earn 80% of TPM for “H”
booking class, while 60% of TPM for “L”
and “X” booking class. |

“L” booking class will earn 60% of
TPM during the period of June to Sept. 2006. |
- Effective from June 01,2006 (based
on travel date), neither mileage credits nor upgrade awards
will be made by using tickets with "X" booking class.
- Mileage earned by one member may
not be combined with another member's.
- If, due to natural causes or other
causes beyond our control, a China Airlines or Mandarin
Airlines flight is cancelled or delayed and members are
transferred to other airlines, the flight mileage will
not be credited.
- For any promotional tickets, the
promotion's regulations will prevail.
