Bonus Mileage |
| Effective from 26 October 2008(based
on travel date), milleage will be credited according to the
percentage of Actual Milleage: |

*. Actual mileage refers to the distance between departure and destination of a flight. (IATA regulated Ticketed-Point-Mileage, known as TPM)
*. Mileage earned by one member may not be combined with another member's.
*. If, due to natural causes or other causes beyond our control, a China Airlines or Mandarin Airlines flight is cancelled or delayed and members are transferred to other airlines, the flight mileage will not be credited.
*. For any promotional tickets, the promotion's regulations will prevail.
*. (Note1) Effective from March 29, 2009, the percentage of mileage accumulation for "R" booking class will be 80%.

Birthday Gift Miles |
China Airlines offers extra bonus of 2,000 miles as a birthday
gift for Gold/Emerald/Paragon card members who travel with
revenue tickets on China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines' flight
during the month period of their birthdays. The extra bonus
mileage will be credit to your account in the following month.
* To enjoy this offer,
DFP members have to use normal paid tickets. Tickets with
G, V, or W booking code and free tickets are excluded.
* Each member is entitled
to such compliment once a year. |

Confirmed Reservation |
| Emerald/Paragon
Members (excluding companions) are assured a seat when a booking
is made at least 72 hours before departure. If the requested
flight or cabin class is unavailable when the reservation
is made , China Airlines will arrange a seat on a flight before
or after the requested flight or in another class on the requested
flight. The member is responsible for fare difference caused
by such arrangement, if any. |

Advance Seat Selection |
Dynasty/Gold Members and their companions are given seat selection. However, “Exit Seats?are available for advance selection due to seat limited. Emerald/Paragon Members and their companions who would like to select the “Exit Seats?are requested to contact reservation center.
*The reserved seat will only be held for up to one hour before the flight departure to aircraft change or certain unforeseen reasons, China Airline reserves the right to rearrange the pre-selected seats.
*Members who select “Exit Seat?should physically meet the Selection criteria and willing to perform his/her Functions designated in accordance with “Exit Section Program? Please refer to the Exit Seat passenger Information. |

Airport Courteous Reception |
| Gold/Emerald/Paragon Members
have access to an exclusive check-in counter at the airport.
They also take priority in boarding same as First/Business
Class Passengers. |

Extra Baggage Allowance |
- Based on piece system, each piece should not be over 32kg for First and Dynasty classes or 23kg on Economy class on flight to/from the Unites States and Canada. Weight system applies to other regions. (In accordance with IATA regulation, subject to change without notice.)

- This benefit is only available on China Airlines flights. It does not apply to other carriers. Where travelling involves a commencing flight from Europe or North America with an onward CI flight, the handling airlines will collect excess baggage fee all the way to the final destination. Member may contact CI branch office and claim refund for extra baggage allowance on CI sector by submitting receipt of payment. Baggage is limited to personal effects only. No merchandise may be included.

Effective from 01 Jun 2006, Paragon and Emerald
members may enjoy 10% off the price for in-flight duty free
items except tobaccos upon showing their membership cards.
(The privilege can not combine with e-shopping promotion.)
Dynasty Members who pre-order their duty free item on this website, with amount more than USD60 per flight, can use their miles to offset part of the payment. |

Airport VIP Lounge Access ( When using the
lounge, please abide by all relevant
lounge regulations) |
- Gold Members have access to the China Airlines airport
VIP lounge on outgoing China Airlines flights.
* When flying to Hong Kong on
China Airlines with an immediate connecting flight to
China, Gold Members may use the China Airlines airport
lounge in Hong Kong.
- Emerald/Paragon Members have access to the airport
VIP lounge while waiting for a China Airlines flight or
an onward flight after arriving on a China Airlines flight.

VIP Lounge Companion |
- Emerald Members having a China Airlines flight (or an onward flight) may invite one accompanying guest(on the same flights) to VIP lounge.
- Paragon Members having a China Airlines flight (or an onward flight) may invite up to two accompanying guests(on the same flights) to use VIP lounge (no limits on accompanying
children apply).

Usage Privilege |
| Effective from 01 June 2006, Gold, Emerald
and Paragon members may redeem their mileage to invite extra
guests, other than the allowable number of their membership,
to enter our airport VIP room together. |

Spouse Upgrade |
When the spouse of an Emerald/Paragon Member
is traveling on the same flight but holds a ticket one class
lower than the Emerald/Paragon Member's, the spouse's seat
can be upgraded to the same cabin class as the member's. (This
privilege is subject to seat availability.)
* Emerald/Paragon Members should
indicate the name of their spouse on the back of their membership
card and apply for the upgrade for the spouse at the airport
check-in counter. Applications are not accepted after boarding.
The spouse of an Emerald /Paragon Member may not request for
the upgrade while making reservations(Please refer to Upgrade
Awardsor contact DFP
service hotline for more information).
* Both Emerald Members and their spouses must be flying on
normal paid tickets to enjoy this benefit. This benefit may
not be combined with an upgrade award, free, discounted, or
promotional tickets.
* Once a Spouse Upgrade is settled, the Emerald Member's spouse
will not receive priority if other upgrade opportunities arise.

Incentive Mileage |
| In addition to actual and bonus mileage,
for each flight on China Airlines an additional 20% in incentive
mileage is credited for Paragon Members. |

Spouse Gold Card |
| Upon supplying China Airlines with relevant
personal information, the spouse of each Paragon Member will
automatically receive a Dynasty Flyer Program Gold Membership.
(The newly-upgraded Paragon Member may nominate one of family
members to enjoy this privilege if his/her spouse hold a Gold
or higher membership already. The chosen member is not changeable.)
