Qualification :
Dynasty Members can become Gold Members after fulfilling one of the following requirements on applicable flights within a 12-month period:

1.
 Accumulating 40,000 miles; or
2.
Log a record of 10 full fare flights in First Class or Dynasty Class.
* A flight with actual mileage of less than 500 miles is calculated as half a flight.
  * First Class or Dynasty Class flights taken by using cabin class upgrades or free tickets, Upgrade Mileage are not counted toward Emerald Membership upgrades or renewals.
500 miles will be deducted each time when a member request replacement of membership card or Membership Guide. NT$ 300 (or the equivalent of US$10 in local currency) will be charged only if there is no sufficient mileage in account of the member submitting the request.

Validity Period :
  • Two years

Gold Membership Renewal :
  • Within the 24- month (2-year) term.
    1.Accumulating 55,000 miles; or
    2. Log a record of 20 full fare flights in First Class or Dynasty Class.
*. If due to an unforeseen circumstance, the new membership card is not received, the validity of original card will be extended by another month.
*. If the renewal requirement is not reached, a Gold Member will automatically revert to Dynasty Member. The card number will remain unchanged.
