China Airlines sponsoring National Taiwan Art Museum in transporting Taiwan art display collection items during the Japanese occupation with touch of regional color to be exhibited in the Asian Art Museum of Fukuoka totally 24 pieces. National Taiwan Art Museum in the token of thanking China Airlines for supporting the transportation of artistic items has not only well recognized China Airlines’ enthusiasm in frequently taking part of activities concerning art and public welfare has also been impressed that China Airlines has been taking the leading role among all domestic enterprises in terms of interchange for international culture and art.

Subject display named “Japanese Occupation Taiwan Art Display Collection Items with Touch of Regional Color To Be Exhibited in the Asian Art Museum of Fukuoka” as from July 13 till October 3, 2006 will well introduce active Japanese painting artists and Taiwan painting artists during the Japanese occupation days including Chen Jen-Po, Lin Yu-Shen, Lin Ji-Joo, Lee Mei-Shu etc.’s most precious pieces which will display our most important cultural assets in the modern art history of our country which will enhance the interchange between Taiwan and Japan.

For the purpose of transporting this lot of most important valuable art items in the modern art history of our country, China Airlines has taken every precautious measures both ways during the transportation. During the round trip of the transportation, China Airlines has followed all technicalities in line with “special handling procedures pertaining to standard valuable items procedures” including wrapping with double layer plastic wraps for covering for both top and bottom layers and moreover, cushioning with water absorbing water proof paper regardless to mention the fact that during transportation, we are to move gently in order to avoid vibration and furthermore, we have placed extra seals outside in order to avoid damage. Plastic wrap has been placed during palletization in order to assure sturdiness of the plastic wrap and reassurance of the wetness proof.
