China Airlines has been entrusted by the National Palace Museum to engage in shipping a total of 43 cases of rare treasures to the Metropolitan Museum of Arts in New York, U.S.A. in eight separate batches during the period of February 4 up till April 13, 1996.

In view of the fact that the cargo shipped is all national rare treasures and art items which are invaluable, for ensuring safety, couriers have been assigned by our company to fully supervise the loading and unloading process, the airport transshipment and warehousing operations. Furthermore, special personnel have also been assigned to escort the rare treasures in order to offer necessary assistance. Above all, the mission has been well accomplished.
