January 16, 2003, Taipei, Taiwan !V As the official carrier of the exhibition of !§Ilha Formosa: the Emergence of Taiwan on the World Scene in the 17th Century,!‥ China Airlines carried the exhibition goods in three flights from Amsterdam and New York back to Taiwan today.

The Formosa Exhibition, held between January 24 and April 30, is co-hosted by National Palace Museum and Ministry of Education. China Airlines was chosen as the only official carrier. Shipment of exhibition collections by China Airlines include canons, ship utensils, books, scripts, paintings!Ketc. Most precious ones of which include the coins used in 17th century and map made of deerskin from Metropolitan Museum in New York. China Airlines treated these precious goods with most cautious manner.

China Airlines is keen and professional in shipping special goods. In addition to shipping valuable exhibition collections, China Airlines successfully shipped live animal like beluga and kinkajous last year. China Airlines now operates a fleet of 14 freighters of B747-400 and B747-200 and serves 40 destinations in the world.
