August 19, 2009, Taipei, Taiwan – China Airlines has airlifted a shipment of aid supplies from Germany free of charge. The supplies, which were donated by “Aviation without Borders,” arrived at Taoyuan International Airport at 06:39 on August 18. The relief goods, weighing 925 kg, included tents, sleeping bags and blankets.

Responding to Taiwan’s urgent need for humanitarian aid in the wake of  Typhoon Morakot, China Airlines has committed itself to delivering emergency goods from around the world for free to help the victims.
