The award recognizes Chairman Philip Wei for his visionary role in the air cargo industry and exceptional management of CAL!|s cargo operations. The event marked the first time a corporate top executive from an Asian airline has received the award. The award was presented during the Cargo Airline of the Year awards evening, held by Air Cargo News at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
