China Airlines Has Launched Its Freight Service To The Market of Atlanta, Georgia

China Airlines is the first Asian carrier that has launched direct freighter service to Chicago and Miami and now, as of March 4, 1998, “direct” freighter service again was launched between Taipei and Atlanta, one of the most important spots in the south eastern part of the United States for the purpose of offering more expedient and time saving service. It is, thus, anticipated that this will directly lead to the booming development of the air cargo industries for both ends. According to China Airlines, as of March 4, 1998, China Airlines has been launching Boeing 747 freighter service to Atlanta departing at 22:00 p.m. on Wednesdays from Taipei and arriving Atlanta at 01:00 a.m. on the following day, Thursdays. As for the return scheduled flights, the departure has been set on 03:30 a.m. on Thursdays from Atlanta and the arrival is scheduled to be made at 15:40 p.m. on Fridays at Taipei. Starting from March 15, 1998, one extra weekly scheduled service has been flown and for the return scheduled flight, the departure has been made at 04:50 a.m. on Mondays from Atlanta and the arrival is scheduled to be made at 12:15 a.m. on Tuesdays at Taipei.

Atlanta is the capital of Georgia State which is located at the south eastern part of the United States. It is famous for its dynamic economic, trade and cultural activities and moreover, the world‘s renowned news network, CNN, as well as the headquarters of Coca Cola have all been stationed here at Atlanta.
